I know a student that abandoned University after spending 6 years for a 4 years course just because she refused to sleep with one lecturer who made it clear that she would never graduate unless she gave in. After re-writing the exam couple of times without success, she never came back to school.

Smelly dirty bastards, without conscience, who sleep with girls younger than their daughters.

yes i am not happy with this lecturer but i know definitely we was victimized and setup by the student Judith. Surly the student convinced he to come around becos of ore interior motive. The both of them are birds of the same feather . Judith also does not have the right to publish this video . This is against human right . The lecture most have being in her room on invitation and she then conspired againt him . She was not raped and its not a crime for a lecture to have an eye on his or her student so far force was not involved . meanwhile i am not in support of this lecturer he neva hard respect 4 him self either .

Why did SR remove the video?

I am extremly saddened by the support this useless professor is getting. Why are we a nation full of hypocrites? It doesn´t matter what Judith´s motives were when filming this video because the fact still remains that he has no right to intimidate and blackmail young girls to have sexual intercourse with him.
All over Nigeria, lecturers demand sex from their female students both in state and private universities.
I was a victim myself both in secondary school and the university. Luckily for me, both lecturers were sacked. Although their dismisal had nothing to do with me then, I now believe my God heard my prayers and dealt with them in his own special way. Enough is enough, encourage our young girls break their silence and speak out about the problems the face in the higher instituitions and we will be dealing with one of the major problems facing our educational system.

Think beyond the Lecturer:
A lady who is as wise and connected enough to produce an act as shown in the video, can not fall a victim of real sexual harrassment if she is equally seriously connected to her accademic life. 80% blame of campus sexual abuses should go to the stdents involved. Most of them solicit for it and adopt it as a survival technique.
Now is a case of randy lecturer. What about other "Randies?"
Most harrasers are encouraged to do so, one way or the other. Most homes do not give a damn about their children's sense of decency in the name of western civilisation. The western form of life is protected by various forms of laws, rules, ethics and social/ecconomic norms, such that do not exist in our environment. Ours is like playing "Hamlet without the Prince of Denmark"

Its true the video may not tell the whole story, we have seen many examples of that. But if the girl's motive was money she only needed to make the man write the check, cash the money and not post the video at all. They made the man write the check and they focused the camera on the check for proof and exposure. Thats obvious from the video. Its one thing to pressure a girl to sleep with you. its another thing to make her feel even lower by not compensating her at all as evident that there was a prior encounter with a bounced check. Anyone who says the motive is extortion needs to have their heads checked. The girl did what she had to do to get even with this shameless cheat. Anyone who talks about reporting to this authority or that authority either has never lived in nigeria or are halucinating

This is an issue that calls for serious investigation, and i hope that the able governor of Edo state will leave no nstone unturned. From the video it is observed that only the Prof. seems to be involved in the so called sexual act process, while the so called Judith seems to be non active in the love jam process, something seems not to be right here, because it takes two to be involved in act of making love, in this case Judith is expected to be willingly submissive to Prof not that she is being asked to do it under duress. This i believe should be properly investigated as it may be another act of blackmail.

This whole episode is very disgusting! While we should all abhor and seriously condemn sexual harrassment, this case looks pretty much like a set-up, apparently to settle some old scores! They were not meeting for the first time! And extorting money from a man under duress, not just by her but also by a whole gang, ("settle us now") makes a bad case out of a legitimate one. The whole affair should be investigated and the culprits punished!

But what does this shameful incident tell us? It literally exposes the putrid state of our country, just like SR strips the criminals-in-power naked, on a daily basis! Hard core! But these bandits are immune! Roam free!
Like Babangida, the Untouchable, who brought all these iniquities on us! We should channel our anger in the right direction! Uproot the tree of evil and the branches will die! Only then can we breathe again!

In court, when a case is up, the Jury and Judge try to look for motive. That's very important. Assesssing this case from an independent perspective, let's try to figure out what the girl's motive was in wanting to expose this professor. Was it that she really wants to expose him bcos he was harassing her for sex? that does not seem so. From the video, she communicates with persons with her phone at intervals as the whole thing was playing out- uhmmm! that rings suspicious to me. Is it that she's talking to the real schemers who used her to execute the whole set up? seems like. uuhmmmm! just thinking

what that video didn’t show was about 3 hours of manhandling and abduction, before they began to record it. What you saw there was a man who was already disoriented from how he’s been manhandled, he was told to co-operate with them for his release out of there. That’s why you see him smile sometimes in the video. All he was doing there was cooperating with them because he wanted to get out of the situation as quick as he could.

i love to see thing like this happen not just to the lecturers or Professors but i will love to see something like this happen to the politicians and the managers and all the bad Ogas all over 9ja. God will help us all. sorry is a bad world to use on this.

This whole things is a complete mess, The guys behind this scene should be call to Order. This is a case of extortion, This girl has been sleeping with the Lecturer which is very Obvious from all indication. she claims the Lecturer failed her, From her conversation on the phone does she sounds bright? Can she define the course she is reading? They should investigate this girl properly to speak the truth,

So, what really happened was that the girl took the lecturer to her house, and immediately the man stopped his car in the compound, 3 other girls who it’s now clear were her accomplice came out from nowhere, locked up the compound gate, grabbed his car keys from him and started searching his car as if they were looking for something-maybe they were looking for the girl’s exam script, which she had told him to bring along but he didn’t. They man-handled the man, and him not wearing his shirt as seen in the video was not as a result of him being caught having sex with the girl, it was the girl’s plan to do this so as to portray in the video that that was what was happening.

It is quited saddening to see that most of the men commenting on the above seem to somehow imply that the woman either did the wrong thing or is at fault here. There lies the problem we have in Nigeria, how can't you see that this sort of things is what corrupts our society absolutely. It can't be right that a man in a position of trust can use it to exploit people. The men who suggest that the lady did the wrong thing should try and imagine if it where their daughter in such a position? I'm sure their opinion would be different. Unfortunately, the decay in Nigeria as a society is everywhere, even in our so called places of learning.

This video and its publication threw up a number of issues:

1.I’m not sure you took decency into consideration in publishing this video “as it is”.
2.SR could have at least covered the Prof’s “whatever you want to call it”
3.We the readers also feel somehow insulted watching this – it’s a bit close to

4.Most importantly, knowing Nigerians for who they are, SR may have unknowingly shown criminals another money-making method – Just wait!

This lecturer got what he deserves and the students are the victims. This issue of sexual harassment has been thriving in our universities for the past 20 yrs. One of the reasons most of our graduates are half baked or burnt is the issue of sex for grades and cash for grades. The lecturers have taken the part of dishonor and refused to act honorably in their various positions. BTW I noticed that most of the folks condemning the video can not even write good English, no wonder they are supporting the fake professor. Like the bible says whatsoever a man sows he shall surely reap in full. Prof your harvest is here and unfortunately you will be the only laborer.

What a failed system. How do we as a people ever expect to grow and develop like this? Well...

The facts of this case can not really be established by this video clip. At best it shows a man being humiliated by a group of people. But this post should open up the issue of what is happening in Nigerian universities, in particular, the kinds of relationship lecturers have with students. Demands for money and sex by lecturers appear to be rife and steps should be taken at the highest level to stamp this out.
