Simply organise your own protest against rigging if you have your facts right. The women who protested the killing because they saw it.

In my opinion, d PDP is directly n indirectly responsible 4 d protest in d North.
1. Directly: People came out en masse n voted, waitd 4 it 2 b counted, protected n escorted dia votes n all of a sudden a different result was cookd up n announced. Wat did d PDP expect. Evry action has an equal n opp reaction
2. D so called hoodlum r so cos de ddnt get dividents of democracy. D areas of protest hav been ruled by PDP for atleast 8yrs but only got poverty, no education, no healthcare, no jobs etc n u ppl r pointin a finger @ Buhari n askin him 2 calm d ppl down wen u caused d problem leadin 2 loss of many innocent souls jst 4 d greed of been in power.

All our slain hero corpers deserve and should be given state burials with the National flag on thier coffins.All burial expenses must be taken care of by the federal government and a compensation of not less than 20million naira payed by the tax payers of the states that murdered them.

All the problem is just that the north wanto rule us for ever and they believe. We go back to history what usman danfodio said and this is what is happening now. We south should not be fool. My advice to fellow Northerners is that, you should stop getting worried about such provocative articles/comments from the south. They simply portray the extent to which we are incompatible as well as the mutual dislike and mistrust between the parts that make up the country. The creation of Nigeria in 1914 was simply a "mistake", as somebody puts it.

Electoral violence will remain a re-occuring decimal in our political landscape unless we do something about the peeks that political office provide its holders.

I seriously believe that serving corpers in the Northern regions should be allowed to go home, been that their lives are at risk. pls let them go go go go... GEJ should question BUHARI and ABUBAKAR following their comments during their campaign.

The election violence is a result of lawlessness. These animals that rape and burn and kill are never prosecuted. The police step back for the violence to occcur, taking full advantage to loot during the mayhem. Afterwards they stand next to the dead taking pictures. Judiciary should wake up, and the police should do what they are paid for.

We need laws on campaign spending, and convictions for violators. This politics of handing out scraps leads to violence in a poverty riddled country like Nigeria. This country is POOR, and when we realise that maybe then we would proceed in the proper direction. Stealing the state blind is not in the interest of the people. The people convicted of looting should forfeit all their property gained from the crime. EFCC should look at the USA RICO statutes. But first we must begin with past leaders who stole us blind, like IBB,Abacha, OBJ and crew.

While I condemn these post elections killings or violence and also respect the women and their protest, I hope no one is pushing them behind close doors to come out in the streets. If in the affirmative, that is, if they are being pushed,it ostensibly look as if they are behind the election that is rigging Jonathan in, whereas doing so is not in their own accord.

And if they were smart and bold enough (and not going by the orders of someone)to protest the rigging so far recorded in 2011 elections maybe the post elections killings may not have happened. If they did happen the mother's should have been seen as fair. Now, they are only protesting the violence while ignoring the rigging and other electoral malpractices that led to such violence.

People being attacked have every right to defend themselves and should do so. No religion, tribe or region has monopoly of violence and of course, self preservation is the first law of nature. This nonesense has become recurring decimal and will continue when known sponsors are not brought to book. I believe in the law of Moses even if at the end, all becomes blind and toothless. Its a food for thought if only we jst hide wateva feelings we had and embrace peace. Cos wat I bliv in is dat no mata hw much violence we en-mass into, we will neva cum out wit a reasonable result. We talk bout d killings in d north, hw bout our comments, are we reading? Killings can't only b by actions, it also cums in word. ..i am not here to comment on actions of violence from north nor rigging from south,but rather here to stage an advise,in as much as we have seen that federal administration has refuse to work out in Nija,SW have decided to liberate themselves by votn for credible governors in the forthcomn gubernatorial elections because we believe things can still be change provided the governors gets it right e.g Lagos,Ondo so i plead to PDP cabals not to bring there riggin machines to SW has that could be disastrous and i advise other regions of the nations to act lk that,rather than shoutn abt division...
