Your comment is good but?????

Nedu, your comment is appreciated but how many of the guys you hussled doing the yahoo together decided to further their studies as you did or even use the fund well? When most of this guys get the money, they squander it on drinks, women, car etc and will want other money to come that way. I sometimes wonder, if people can have access to some kind of opportunities (even though, it is not the best as someone suffered for the benefit an average yahoo boys enjoy), can they utilize it well to better their future? Your suggestions are good as per how to move forward but, it may not be in our govt's agenda. Besides, now that you are abroad, do you think Nigeria's image is worth it? Im abroad too but all these things are affecting our image.

Na wa!! So Nigeria has turn to this

Na wa, so we have turn to this? While I sincerely understand that there are no jobs and that the politicians are corrupt, does that mean we should then go into fraudulent activities in other to survive? I know my stand on this may not be popular and that many may come out to curse my father, that notwithstanding, the truth is that when this guys are exposed to money and that money is no more coming the way it used to be, they will go into greater crime. Aside, the name this crime has given to Nigeria is not palatable outside the country. An average Nigerian is viewed as a fraudster and people are araid to hae any business relationship with us. Going to school this day may not bring the money immediately but with time, you will get there. Think of something positive to do and God will bless your effort.

WAT A COUNTRY

It is said that "leaders should lead by good examples for the followers to see.
But its a pity our own case is not like that, our leaders are busy squandering money, while the youth's are out there suffering. Graduates are busy roaming around street with CVs in other to see if they will be "lucky enough" to get one. WAT A SHAME!!
And here we are EFCC busy arresting poor boys tring to survive the only way they can. Wat happens to the the govt stealling and doing away with our billions of naira.
Please EFCC,lets face reality.
Thanks,
Yours sincerely,
A true Nigeria.

Na wa EFCC please free these

Na wa EFCC please free these guy. There is no job in Nigeria.

EFCC to be disolved

This proves EFCC has no intention of tackling the problem for which they were created, namely, minimize misuse of public funds, so such funds can be used for infrastructural development. Unless an arm of the government was the victim of internet fraud, it is a civil offence which can be addressed in a court of law. EFCC should have nothing to do with civil offences.

WHEN U GET FREE KEEP IT REAL

APPLICATION FOR REMOVAL....

Good day Sir/Madam,

It is of great bitterness and utmost disappointment that i wish to express my view on your recent post dated 31.01.2013.I am a media practitioner and from what i know,i am aware that showing the faces of Minors is a dent on their future. In western Media, the faces of suspects are usually Blank, but it was so so shameful to see that in your post, you allowed the outright parade of the faces of those Young men.

This to me is a dent on their Rights as Nigerians and as individuals with Great Future.I therefore apply for the collapse of that post and an apology to the Families of those youths.Edo state is a peaceful state,a hand full of Young ones there survive on what they do.

They are not armed robbers, nor looters, nor Kidnappers.I think the pictu8re show was Very wrong.

efcc this guys aint worthy

efcc this guys aint worthy arrested cos they dont even ave what it takes, people that need to be arrested are the politicians imagine a politician stole millions of naira to pay hundreds of naira as fine, cant u guys get such rubbies to book

Efcc i thought you guys are bigger than this?

Efcc i thought you guys are bigger than this? you people came to our state and pick innocent, most of them are 16, 17 years old which was old enough to be your own child, you see while this country called Nigeria will never have peace, because some of you only want to make names so that the useless thief's people called government will say you guys are working, not knowing that you are placing cause on your own generation. one day we great Nigerians is going to fight back, and we shall kill all the leaders that are ruling you people not me. which i can end this country so that every soul will die. i will be back for our leaders, there is no way they can run or hid

EFCC should concentrate on making governance effective.

The main reason why the EFCC was created was to make governance effective by concentrating on fraud perpertrated by public officers and contractors who get paid but do not do their jobs. The change of the EFCC's mission and vision is ridiculous. Anything short of chasing the fraudsters in government is not acceptable. The EFCC has been rendered officially impotent ever since Yaradua and Johnathan got into power. Their effort to take public officers off the radar of the EFCC in order to let Public officers continue with the business of stealing funds to enrich themselves shows us that the government is a failure. EFCC is the only tool that can check militancy and corruption in government now. THE EFCC IS NOW A FAILURE AND NOTHING SHORT OF GOING BACK TO IT'S CORE OPERATIONAL MISSION OF TACKLING CORRUPTION IN GOVERNANCE WILL MAKE NIGERIANS HAPPY. Every Nigerian public officer is guilty of corruption until proven innocent- Ribadu proved this notion. We want Ribadu reinstated.

The EFCC should concentrate on fraud in the government.

I was once a yahoo yahoo guy. After about 5 yrs of being turned down by JAMB, I had to resort to online fraud to get money to go study overseas. Today I have 2 bachelor degrees in Europe with a first class in my first Bachelors course. Ever since leaving Nigeria, even though I was not allowed to work in the country I'm in, I stopped doing online scams. Why? Because there are periodic work programs for students which involve going to USA, UK, Australia, Canada or other European countries to work in Summer and seek funds to take care of themselves. Ghana and South Africa have such programs. A bilateral agreement or deal with any of these first world countries e.g supplying gas at a discounted price to them if they'll allow our numerous unemployed youths to be able to go work in their countries in summer. This alone can change Nigeria in the long term. Meanwhile EFCC should concentrate on making governance effective and leave these young men seeking a means of livelihood.

EFFCC BE CAREFUL.

EFCC PLS FREE DOS YOUTHS DEY'RE ONLY HELPING DEMSELVES,GO & ARREST D LOOTERS LOOTING OUR FUNDS & TAKING TO OUTSIDE COUNTRIES DOS GUYS ARE BRINGING D MONEY BACK TO NIGERIA FUCK EFCC FUCK FEDERAL GOVT OF NIGERIA.

Dont Blame the Southerners for Crime, its Bad Govt

Hi, I am not from the southern part of this country and its not only southerners that does yahoo, prostitution, drug trafficking etc in this country, these crimes happen everywhere in this country, its poor govt. Am sure if govt empower dese guys, dey wont involve in such crimes, EFCC are even worst dan dese guys. Again, dey r better dan robbers who will point the fucken gun in our brains to robb us.

Shame

Shame on EFCC, what do you want these young boys to do. When the elderly ones are stealing from their future. Countless elderly ones who have become a disgrace to us. In as much as it is bad to steal, we will continue to swindle foreigners until our government provides a better environment for us. Only this week a pension scammer was granted bail after stealing billions of naira. How much these boys don thief??

Recommendation...

Sincerely, I do not support fraudulent ways to earn a living, however I must state here that the country has bigger problems ranging from Terrorism to Bad Leadership. Create jobs for youths and crime will reduce. I have been to South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and some other African countries which has lesser financial income compared to what Nigeria generates, they create job opportunities for their citizens. You have people working in banks with secondary school certificates while in Nigeria you have youths with Masters Degrees out of jobs. So in a nut shell EFCC should recommend that the federal govt address the issues of unemployment before they go around arresting poor youth who have turned to crime out of frustration. Even fraud is difficult so no one should consider it a a means of livelihood or a short cut to success. CREATE JOBS TO REDUCE CRIME SIMPLE.

Shame

Shame on EFCC, what do you want these young boys to do. When the elderly ones are stealing from their future. Countless elderly ones who have become a disgrace to us.
