For all who have lost dearly loved ones, may you be consoled through meditation on God's word, be it the Quran or the Bible. As humans we cannot but trade blame, and rightly so cos this is the life we know. But as we think of it let's realize that it could have been worse. So much more devastating destruction could have occurred. Anyone may wonder why this opinion, but as I say that even in our moment of grief, let's give a place to God who knows all things. When govt sets up its investigation whatever, let's hope they will rise above their hitherto uninspiring manner, let the truth be revealed, and let things be done right. Lives are lost in the most painful manner everyday. Time for authorities to be more pro-active for the sake of every citizen. God bless Nigeria.

If yes, were the Aviation Authorities/the government informed? If yes, then all the parties - the owner, authorities and the government are to blame. But if the information was not given to the authorities/government, then the blame should be channeled to the appropriate quarters. However, the government is now expected to bring the consequence of that deadly decision to be on the decision maker - the owner of Dana air.

The worse of all this now is that non will be punish for this or hold responsible. In civilized countries, the minister of aviation and the top aviation officials would have resign by now, but unfortunately they are not even thinking about it, all they will say is that we are conducting an investigation in which they will bribe along the process in concealing the fact(s) at the end. And then 3rd June 2012 become a history. Then it would happen again and again and again... till we all return to our Lord.

DNA is the most probable option to find him amongst the carnage. Unfortunately, this simple technology might even be beyond Nigerian emergency service.

Clearly, forensic evidence is a new concept to our emergency service judging from the contamination of the crash site by the locals. Not a single area was cornered off for investigation.

Jonathan declared a 3-day mourning exercise...but did not see it fit to launch an IMMEDIATE credible investigation

Am a Ghanaian,but this disaster catches the soul and the very core of any sane and normal human,,it's soo sad what has just happened,,even sadder are the pictures that they are showing us,,if what you say about the Dana owner is true then he should be persecuted and trialed,cause these are human lives that he toyed with for the sake of his profit that he would gain over innocent children,,defendless women and family men,,my heart goes out to all the berieved families,,on Friday we lost humans when a Nigerian air cargo crashed in our stadium killing innocent souls then followed by another serious more disastrous plane crash in neighboring Nigeria,,what is all this,,and the day before that air Nigeria could not fly due to engine and operational problems,,only for some of the passengers to switch to Arik and some taking their money!!!NA WA!there is always more to everything than the human eye can see.....may our God help us cause these are very dangerous times,,Gud day.

I just want to find out how the bodies were identified, because I lost a close friend and her parents were on the scene on Sunday but didn't find anything. And her Parents will still come to collect her body as her name is on the list of bodies that was identified. So please what are your measures of identification? And kindly show us the pictures of the recovered body

what a pity, let me ask are we still going to leave like this, do we have a government at all, the govt says no importation of used cars and other things into the country, but they same govt allows importation of used and dead planes into the country. Hmmm they don't wish us well this is not boko haram issue that can not be stop.

Every aspect of our life,peace,security,economy,polity,education,health etc have been compromised by the crooks called politicians.There have been warnings about the compromising standards in Nigerian aviation industry and it fell on deaf ears.Till now the warnings are still pouring in like Air Nigeria,Dana Air etc. and they are left to operate the flying coffins due to compromise.Boko Haram,dare Devil robbers,militant insurgencies,Kidnapping for Ransome,plane Crashes etc claiming innocent Nigerian lives in hudreds daily and our government say's all is alright?The head of our leaders need to be examined thoroughly,for they are'nt SANE.
