Pastor Tunde Bakare is a man i have so much respect for but he has chosen the wrong PLATFORM to engage.
I support the removal of fuel subsidy but it has to be in tandem with locally-refined fuel coming on-stream so that prices at the pumps remain virtually the same.
I believe President Goodluck Jonathan is a good man but has not demonstrated the ability to fight the endemic corruption, let alone having the liver to convene PEOPLE'S CONFERENCE to define our democratic space.
Yes, even as an elected President he can convene such a conference by pointing to regional militias tearing the country down.
We want PEOPLE'S REVOLUTION so as to re-structure Nigeria and hold corrupt leaders accountable.
The PLATFORM ought to be SNC.

So now Tunde Bakare is a loser..right? Jonathan is a foolish President. Those soldiers and the heavy ammunition should have been directed to get rid of Boko Haram once and for all, not the peaceful protesters. I see nothing wrong in changing an incompetent administration. I see nothing wrong in changing a government that approves corruption and makes it part of daily life. They ring into our ears everyday that they get ride of fuel scarcity. I thought the minister for petroleum will be educated enough to know that that is why they're there, to make life better for citizens. Their reward will be the citizens live comfortably and are not complaining. Also international citizens will see Nigeria as a country where things run smoothly and a conducive environment to live in. You are not there to do one thing and everybody troops out to praise you. How many things do you want the citizens of America and Britain to praise their governments for everyday. The good roads? Using their taxes prudently? Punishing corrupt leaders? Helping the poor? No scarcity of fuel? Stable electricity? Etc. If they achieved 80% of these at the end of their term, they would not need to come to us before praise them.

No Pastor should talk until they define Deuteronomy 14 verse 22-29 and STOP Stealing peoples monies in the name of tithe and offering!!! I must say that Pastor Tunde Bakare is the Most honest and sincere Pastor of all the Pastors and religious leaders I know or heard. Most others are ruled by selfishness. Remember James 4:17 told us "If you know what you're supposed to be doing and you don't do it, then you're sinning".
Some of our religious leaders thinks it is not their duty to call our corrupt and errant leaders to order or at least let them know that they are going the wrong direction.
All they are interested in is the tithe of the people. God will judge us all on the last day.
