Youngstars Foundation Nigeria With Support From NED USA Presents Desplay Africa Season 8 Call For Application From Youth In Africa

DESPLAY Africa is an annual youth democracy academy that brings together youths from different African countries to deepen their democracy knowledge and foster active youth participation in good governance processes. Funded by National Endowment for Democracy NED USA since 2005, a new call for application by interested youth has been released.


A DESPLAY year comprises of 3 semesters of 4 days training each scheduled to take place in 3 months intervals in Nigeria. It comprises over 30 sessions, reading school, internship, learning visit to another democracy, presidency of DESPLAY Republic as well as get a free youth democracy film and handbook toolkit among others. Since inception this program has directly trained over 250 youths from Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Liberia and about 10,000 youths indirectly through her peer education component called Passing it On.
