Confederation of African Football (CAF) To Replace Scandal Tainted Amos Adamu

The president of Nigeria Football Federation Aminu Maigari will contest next year to replace Amos Adamu, the discredited Nigerian longtime representative at the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
CAF announced today that Maigari will compete against two others in order to become an executive committee member of CAF.
According to CAF, two other candidates have been selected to compete for the race to replace Mr. Adamu the former CAF executive member that represented Nigeria for several years until a bribery scandal at FIFA forced him out.
The election will hold early next year at the next CAF's general assembly.
Other candidates for the West African slot include Benin Football Association Chairman, Anjorin Moucharafou and The Niger Football Association Chairman, Hima Souley.
The vacancy is for West Africa group 'B', which includes Benin, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Togo, Burkina Faso and Niger.
CAF president Issa Hayatou of Cameroun will run unopposed for his current slot during the general assembly while South Africa’s Danny Jordan will also try to get on the CAF board after he failed to do so previously.
Hayatou was first elected CAF boss in 1988.

I feel as a sports practioner, and a football administrator in UK, I think it is really, really time for this MAN to honourably let others teast the administration of football administration. this sit/position is not a personal time, African football has been magnalized by this man who feels he has solid backing or connection of FIFA supper men. I think we are try to see new experience of young generations of football administrator, I personally needs more people to speak in one voice to see if this man woukd give way for others.

Will Isah Hayatu dies on the post, or is d post a family affairs post? It means we dont have a capable someone in Africa who can run the affair of football in Africa apart from Hayyatu?

He should be sacked and replace with a credible person. He lacked ideas and have overstayed his usefulness.
