Kano Pillars Gets First Win

After two close loses, Nigerian representative at the African Champions Cup Kano Pillars finally got their season underway with a close win over Egyptian power house Al Ahly.
Led on the back of a 22 points effort by Abubabakar Usman, Kano Pillars withstood some late pressure to seal the all important win. After taking a 7 point lead in the fourth quarter, Pillars withstood a fourth quarter comeback by Al Ahly to hold on to win it 70-68.
Pillars are currently in fourth place in group B.

Oh the team are really playing very well. ofcourse one of the best team in the continent.
They need Nigerians prayers to excell in the ongoing FIBA tournament taking plac ein Malabo, Equitorial Guinea.
