Mikel Obi Banned And Fined By English FA
John Mikel Obi has been given a 3match ban has also been fined £60,000by the FA. The Football Association met today over the case of Mikel Obi and referee Mark Clattenburg when he accused him of calling him a 'monkey'.
Mikel pettioned the FA and he asked for a personal hearing after admitting the use of threatening, abusive and insulting words a towards the referee Mark Clattenburg after the match that was played with Manchester United on 28 October this year.
"The regulatory commission's independent chairman, Christopher Quinlan QC, emphasized that the independent regulatory commission accepted, as at the time he threatened the referee, the player genuinely believed that the referee had racially abused him. But for that factor the suspension would have been significantly longer'
"Subsequently the FA investigated the allegation that the referee racially abused the player and found that there was not a case for him to answer." The FA regulatory Commision Independent Chairman concluded
Mikel Obi will have to watch his team play from the bench
Crazy Excuse for Defeat
Infact, he should be given 20 match ban and charged 600million pounds for that wrongful accusation to a referee. No doubt the referee's decision wasn't the best because it killed their moral. Nevertheless, that's too cheap an accusation from a defeated side. When you lose a match, don't blame it on anyone or anything just move on. To me that was very light a punishment. All through his 7 yrs at Chelsea, it's only back pass I know him for than moving forward. All players except him alone hasn't scored a goal till date. It's good Manchester United never got him if not he would have been thrown out with left hand.
JUSTICE
Quite unfortunate.Let all learn from this.
not a case for him to answer
That does not absolve the referee of the accusation. Maybe the QC means the ref does not have to answer to that because he is above the law and can call a blackman anything including monkey.
One day the monkey they're looking for in Africa gogo market e no go return.
