SUPER EAGLES OF NIGERIA, THE CHAMPION, IS THE NO 1! QED

SUPER EAGLES OF NIGERIA, THE WINNER/CHAMPION, IS THE NO 1! QED. WHAT MANNER OF RANKING IS THAT THAT PLACES NO 1 IN 4TH POSITION. I FEEL 'OJORO' AND SEE CONSPIRACY HERE. THIS IS UNFAIR BUT IT DOESN'T CHANGE NOTHING: THE FACT THAT SUPER EAGLES OF NIGERIA IS THE CHAMPION AND UTHENTIC NO1!
ALL THE COUNTRIER OF AFRICA WERE INVOLVED IN A FOOTBALL CONTEST.ONE WINS ALL.THE WINNER IS RANKED 4TH...WHO GETS THE 1ST,2ND AND 3RD POSITIONS,THE LOOSERS?QUITE ANNOYING AN ARRANT NONSENSE!!!

CAF Rating of Nigeria is unfair

Nigeria defeated even the defending champion in the AFCON '13 feaster, and went ahead to carry the cup.Placing her at No 4 position is therefore unfair. The fact is the No 1 football team in Africa at the moment is the Super Eagles of Nigeria.QED.The ranking system should be such that since any team that wins the cup in each edition is crowned CHAMPION,it should as such become automatically the No 1 in the CAF ranking,at least for the moment.

best

Check this out

1.Go to www.fifa.com
2.click on FIFA ranking
3.click on ranking table
4.click on the drop-down menu under Ranking Prognosis
5.Select a country
6.click on calculate and that gives the points accrued by each country during the ranking period.

It's also possible simulate the points during each period to estimate what our ranking might be.

Winning the Nation's cup is not enough to put your country ahead of other countries in Africa. However, it will boost your ranking points, and if Nigeria keeps winning Grade A matches then we can quickly get to the top 20. All we need to do is play teams that are above us on the ranking table, that's how it works.

For instance, CIV moved up two places from 14 to 12 despite losing to Nigeria, because they previously have more points than us before the tournament, and had a couple of wins too in the competition so that adds up.

@Zeman and Anynymous u do not

@Zeman and Anynymous u do not just become nr.1 in Africa because u won the Afcon. A team is rated according to how many wins, draws and losses after a particular period and u get points according the caliber of the match. Nigeria was about 52 in Africa and jumped to number 4 which to me is a very big leap. Meanwhile the ex-minister of sports asked why we were still below Argentina after we beat them 4:1 in a friendly match? How such an ignoramus became a sports-minister beats my imagination.

So which countries are No 1-3rd in African if Nigeria is 4th

So which countries are No 1st-3rd in African if Nigeria is 4th, even after winning the Afcon 2013? What sort of fraud is that by FIFA/CAF.
Is it Ivory coast that Nigeria beat or is it Mali or Ghana which did not get to Finals. Ye ye people!

FIFA February Ranking

i thought by winning the AFCON championship Nigeria will be 1st in Africa
