Baby Eagles

I have stated my point in another comment on Sahara Reporters on the Eagles list and preparation for the AFCON. The guys Keshi packed to the competition are Boys in a competition earmarked for Men.

He happens to be the first Coach to be given free hands to choose his Team but it appears that the experiment is not working. There is nowhere in the World a Coach is allow to choose players on sentiments and grudges. Even in the biggest Club side, they have Technical Team that pick players and the job of the Coach is to use his wherewithal to put together a winning formula. I guest the Football Authority in Nigeria will now see that leaving Coaches to pick players is not experimentally viable. He select the players to play not the Team.

Well Keshi has done well and he has actually covered his butt when he announced before the competition that his "Team is a Working -in- Progress" that to me, is an admission of failure even before the first kick of the ball happens. Poor Eagles!!!.
