@2akpos1

For once a refreshingly apt view of the so called do or die dependence on oil of the Niger Deltans I totally agree with you.

To 2akpos1, I appreciate your

To 2akpos1,

I appreciate your analogy and great thinking, comparing Norway with big Nigeria is like comparing apple with water lemon. But I think you are wrong with the thinking that it is oil that is feeding Nigeria. I agree oil may be keeping politicians and that is why they fight to kill in order to keep hold to power. What is feeding majority of Nigeria (with over 70% living below poverty line) is the gari, yam, beans, pepper, tomato in our market not the oil.

Please, kindly check Nigeria GDP numbers for years, oil is just about 20% of our total GDP and agriculture is doing over 40%. Do not be deceived Rivers, Bayelsa or Delta may not be better than they are now if they become independent states if it is still the same crop of leaders we have now that will rule the nations. Every state in Nigeria, I mind every state is blessed with natural and human resources, what Nigeria needs is not division but great leaders.

Thank you

Dear Adeola...don't insult the wealth producing countries of Nig

Adeola, you spoke well about Norway & juxtaposed its prison system with that of continent Nigeria. How intelligent or unintelligent you are, depends on how one views it.

I ask you, If Rivers state, Delta or Bayelsa were individual states, they would do much better than you Utopian Norway.

Norway has 4.5m people.

Rivers State = 5.7m people
Bayelsa = 2.7m people
Delta State = 4.3m people

These 3 states feed over 130m Nigerians from Lagos to Oyo to Sokoto to Abuja & Kano. How will it work? Tell Norway to begin to use its resources to feed 130m pples & lets see the result.

If you want a better country, support disintegration & let your Oyo state provide 3 bed room flats for its armed robbers. Nonsense!
