Wake Up!!!

@Anonymous: Don't believe all these lies.Look at the federal revenue on a year-on-year basis and then compute the exaggerated stipends and perks published by these tabloid outfits;see if it adds up. For a more accurate/authoritative info on salaries of civil servants, please go the folllowing website:www.economicconfidential.com and click on the "facts and figures" section or do a search at the top right corner. Are some of you imbeciles just barely educated or what?I mean somebody can indefinitely run circles around some of you idiots without your knowledge. You guys really reek to believe every crap shoved down you gutteral throats. I feel really sorry for you lost souls who obviously will be impossible to redeem at this late stage. You folks ought to cut out some of this puerile nonsense you gobble up for fact. The radioactive truth stares you in the face ,only you are too dumb to see it.Haba!!!Yankuri!!!

If I was a minister I'll not agree to be interviewed by this tabloid outfit. They propangandize every damn thing to lay a finger on.One wonders where the hell these morons got their journalism degrees from. This is way too childish beyond my comprehension. The question be asked is this: Ask Obj what happened to the $16 billion his administration spent on power. Yet we sef no get one ray of light. Haba!! Yankuri aboki Sowero. Ba na so turenjin ka. Cut to the chase and bring Obj on and ask him this one question jari.

Bart is corrupt and can't catch himself

Bart is here to improve his pocket. government has paid off his N25billon debt. he put his geometric power staff Rumundaka to head the bulk trading company after falsifying his cv to show that the guy came directly from diaspora. Bart is now writing his own power purchase agreement for geometric power, the first PPA Nigeria will sign.

he put his boy Eyo in the regulatory commission to fix the price he asked the same regulator in 2007 to allow him to charge in Aba and the regulator rejected. he put his personal friend patrick an unqualified agboro in the commission incharge of finance, and they are looting money in the name of salaaries, estacodes, buying cars and all types of contracts for themselves and for Bart.

he will now increase myto by 88% myto and arranged the N60b susbsidy part of which Barts companies will collect.

Bart is corrupt and cannot catch himself.

omoyele ask him next time on the corrupt enrichment he presides

and ibrahim saad you are right. but it's just make we come chop wey dem dey do. this is part of the pay Nnaji gives his commissioners including his personal friend from diaspora who presented a doctored qualification for senate clearing. as he tells us what the rest of the world pay for electricity, he should tell us what they also pay their civil servant regulators.

neoliberalism versus accountability

the minister, with all his big brain, is not doing better than madame wahala or princess sanussi. all them use grammar to apply neoliberal remedies after the patient has already died from drinking the same fake drug. the minister admits that "interest groups" control so-called "government" (= criminal PDP cabals), so all his bukuru is air. electricity will not come before accountability. SR is correct: handcuffs before investment! the cabals will NEVER decentralize the country and allow each region or each city cater for its own police, water, light as they should. in the year 2000, neoliberals allowed a foreign investor to "privatize" water in bolivia (thanks to another genius named jeffrey sachs), and even collecting of RAIN WATER became illegal. but the people of bolivia fought back with real dynamite and they won. so it will be in 9ja, one day...

Alll we need is privatization

It does not take rocket science to know that all we need is privatization of electricity, like OBJ privatized telecommunications. The technology to supply constant electricity is already known. How to manage the supply is another story. Nnaji alone cannot solve the problems, he needs other people of equal calibre to help him. But in order to do that, he needs a lesson in management, and building a robot has nothing to do with it. Students in the US/Europe do build robots daily, and it is a known technology. If Nnaji has built robots, good for him. This time, he is to build our electricity, and that is much more challenging than building a robot! Let us give him the benefit of the doubt. We all know that the power generator dealers are among the culprits that have been sabotaging electricity in Nigeria.

@Lady Titilayo - on Nnaji's Robot

Titilayo, American children here do build robot everyday from high schools to colleges and universities. Which kind of Robot did Nnaji build? To run a race, so that other robots could not catch up? Don't be stupid, and think clearly.

Now that said, if Nnaji build robot that is the fastest ever in the world, that's fine. What we need now is for him to build a coalition of people to restore power to Nigera. It takes more than building a robot to make sure there is constant supply of electricity to the whole country. To build a robot, you don't need more than a room to work. But to have constant electricity requires a lot more. Yep, Nnaji may have a good intention, but until then, let's hold our breadth for now, rather than hero worshiping. Sorry this is no robot. Building a robot is much eaiser. It does not take a rocket science to do that!

Please tell the ignorant

Please tell the ignorant Nigerians that actually think this man built "fastest robot." I thought before it was in the US, now is in Russia. All we have are self-promoting individuals as executives of a directionless government. Of course he knows nothing about power generation not to talk of making a change in a corrupt organization as the NEPA now disguised as power holding company.

@ Lady Titilayo

Barth Nnaji isnt one who needs adverts. Coomon, the guy built the fastest robot in Russia amongst other achievements globally. I believe he has better intention for our country than marketing HIS-ALREADY-DISTINGUISHED self.He oght to be commeneded as well as appreciated for even accepting the grievous-superchallenging task he took on for a corrupt and difficult nation like Nigeria. i dont know how anyone who has got common sense expects Him to attain in just a year what hasnt been attained in decades. Even in the short time of his appionttment, he has been able to add to existing megawatts.
I strongly believe this nation will witness a better power sector from Barth's regime. Its clear this man is working very hard. He should be given a chance to do what he can before being slandered/and written-off.

HOW MUCH HAVE THEY BORROWED TODAY? HOW MUCH!!!!!!? HOW MUCH!!!!!

Please!!! E jo!!! Biko!!! HOW MUCH IS NIGERIA’S DEBT AS OF TODAY?

Please!!! E jo!!! Biko!!! HOW WILL IT AFFECT OUR CHILDREN TOMORROW?

HOW MUCH HAVE THEY BORROWED TODAY? HOW MUCH!!!!!!? HOW MUCH!!!!!!? HOW MUCH!!!!!!? HOW MUCH!!!!!!? HOW MUCH!!!!!!? HOW MUCH!!!!!!?

@IBRAHIM SAAD

ibrahim saad if you know the extent your brothers destroy this country for more than 20 years, you wont expect Prof Bath to fix them by 1 year.It is unfortunate that you have not come to comprehend the enormous work that needs to be done. For three years Yardua abandoned all the power projects and never open the power reform road map,but Nnaji has not only added power to our grid, but have worked tirelessly to build the framework that will sustain the power industry in Nigeria. It is not all about power generation, but to get the whole business of power generation, transmission and distribution right and that is what Nnaji is doing concurrently. He has not get the whole thing but he is on course. Anyway you are free to criticise if it is all you wanted to.

Bart Nnaji, the best Minister Nigeria ever had

My people perish for lack of knowledge. If you can listen to this brainiac speak than listen to gossip and rumours then would you understand how hard he is working to change this sector and accept him as the power guru. The days of not having light for any amount of time will soon be over. Look at the communication sector today, even my grandma has 2 phones in the village. The communication networks(MTN, AIRTEL, GLO, ETC) don't work perfectly but at least I don't have to travel from Uyo to NITEL Lagos to make a phone call. Let's give him a chance. I believe he will deliver. PRIVATIZATION IS THE KEY!!!

my friend go and deliver light to the people

These man is a disgrace to the think tank of nigerians in diaspora. Hired to improve electricty for the masses but still with nothing to show for it. The guy knows next to nothing about generating light for the ppl. He is as usual, first and foremost a business man who used the pages of our media in diaspora to market his himself. Months after his confirmation as minister we have not moved an inch from where we were when he assumed his new post. All he does is to talk but can hardly walk the talk. With his many registered private companies used in siphoning money form the power holding company. Just sack him.

Real Technocrats to the rescue

Europe has a crisis they called technocrats to rescue them in Greece, Italy and so on. Bath can rescue Nigeria from this vicious circle of corruption and underdevelopment if given a chance. Thank you Bath for your Aba power project Ndigbo manufacturers can rest assure China will be run out of Nigeria with quality products and the rest of Africa can indeed reckon with Igbo made when Aba gets 24 hours power supply. I am proud of you

I AM SORRY FOR MY COUNTRY

THIS KIND OF PEOPLE ARE JUST THE SCUM OF THE EARTH AND THEY ARE UNFORTUNATELY AT THE HELMS OF AFFAIRS IN MY COUNTRY. HEAR HIM SAYING THE COST OF ELECTRICITY IS THE LOWEST IN WEST AFRICA SO THEY HAVE TO ARTIFICIALLY MOVE IT TO THE MIDDLE. THEY CONSIDER WHAT ELECTRICITY COST IN OTHER WEST AFRICAN COUNTRY BUT DID NOT CONSIDER HOW SOME OF THOSE COUNTRIES ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE THE ELECTRICITY, NEITHER DOES HE CARE TO TELL US HOW MUCH IT COST IN NIGERIA TO PRODUCE THE ELECTRICITY. THEY JUST DO THE EASIEST THING HIKE PRICES AND TALK NONSENSE.

GOD BLESS YOU SOWORE MAY YOU LIVE LONG AND CONTINUE TO DISGRACE THESE POWER-MISS-ROADS.

THEY WANT GOVT OUT OF PEOPLES LIFE

THE "HONORABLE" MINISTER IS JUST SAYING ONE THING, THE SAME THING JONATHAN SAID ABOUT THE FUEL CABAL, "WE ARE SO CORRUPT, AND THE CORRUPTION IS SO BIG THAT THE ONLY WAY WE CAN FIGHT IT IS BY TAKING GOVT OUT OF ALL BUSINESS". NIGERIANS SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT THIS MEANS THEY ARE THROWING ALL OF US TO THE CORRUPT CABALS TO FEAST ON.

HOW MUCH HAVE THEY BORROWED TODAY? HOW MUCH!!!!!!? HOW MUCH!!!!

Please!!! E jo!!! Biko!!! HOW MUCH IS NIGERIA’S DEBT AS OF TODAY?

Please!!! E jo!!! Biko!!! HOW WILL IT AFFECT OUR CHILDREN TOMORROW?

HOW MUCH HAVE THEY BORROWED TODAY? HOW MUCH!!!!!!? HOW MUCH!!!!!!? HOW MUCH!!!!!!? HOW MUCH!!!!!!? HOW MUCH!!!!!!? HOW MUCH!!!!!!?
