Raw video shows freelance journalist Deji Badmus exposing the worst police academy in the world. "Block 7" is the part talking about the deplorable toiletries of the Nigeria police college in Lagos.
Is this how you suppose to train future policemen? Is this to make them tougher or what?
No wonder our police can't think well.....
It is a shame if the goverment of other countries have to donate medical facilities to us Nigerians when in this same country, a single individual can steal N33billion and the Nigerian system negotiates with him or her. May God help us!
The universities and polytechnics are worse. How can you train functional minds in these environments?
Please go and do the same expose at our universities. They are even worse than this. It is all over. Sad. Sad. And yet nothing is going to happen. What kind of people are we? First of all the commandant must resign. Then the next in charge too must resign. Start from there. We want action. The president can't change it. The police bosses must start something - including telling us where the money for maintenance goes to.
If my people.. "and turn from their wicked ways". If we had "smellivisions" I hate to think of the stench. It's not surprising Deji nearly called the 240 would one day be 'non-bribe collecting officers', "in-mates" though they are recruits. Not that prisoners should be subjected to such treatment either.
In the 14 years of Democracy, how much has been spent on the accommodation facilities of the Executive and Legislative personnel - In Building, Renovations, Rent, Temporary Accommodation (hotels)and Furniture.
Change is inevitable and coming real soon.
I think is unfair to blame the President in this matter by expecting him to be everywhere at the same time or know everything he is not God that's why we all need to play our roles just like Deji is doing and because definitely funds had been budgeted for years and is still being, for the maintenance of the structure they also generate revenue by allowing events to take place in their base. The question is what happened to the allocated funds both budgeted and generated, was it enough? was it embezzled?the point now is what is the way forward and i'm very sure with the surprise visit of the President surely things will change for the better and i just hope deji will be around to let us know.
Even a PIG would be ashamed to use these toilet facilities .
The Commandant of the Police College, Ikeja should be sacked immediately and investigations conducted to determine how much was budgeted and expended each year for the last 3(three) years on maintenance of the college. The outcome / findings would be scandalous .
What is the process of obtaining details of maintenance budget of Police College Ikeja for 2010 - 2012 ?
This would not happen in president Buhari's adminstration. Heads should roll and somebody should be in jail - but sadly, Jonathan is the same person making sure big corrupt criminals don't go to jail. It take a corrupt president to protect his co-persons. Where is senator Farouk Lawan now and the rest? Tell me, Jonathan!

Eyesore! Where has the money gone, Jonathan?
On top of this, Jonathan has not paid police, army and all federal workers their January salaries and today is 3I.1.13. Late president Yaradua had paid promptly before or, on the 20th of every month when he was president Jonathan has failed all round!
Thanks very much indeed Bayo, perhaps you should also visit other training establishments like the "NNS QUORRA" of the Nigerian Navy where Officers not recruits are being trained! Keep up the good work and more grease to your groins!
This is why we will be a third world country for a long time to come..........
Chinese government handed a $12 million Hospital to Nigerian Government. So Nigerian government cannot afford to build hospitals that costs $12 million to each state in the country. The monies being stolen by the politicians can build hundreds of such hospitals in the country. The monies earmark to build or renovate the police college is enough to take care of the police college & hospitals around the states. The Hausa/Fulani have been running the affairs of the Police Organization. The Hausa/Fulani stole the money meant to develop the country. They have been running the show for decades. They share the national cake among themselves. Emirs from the North are richer than Nigeria itself. Can someone ask them to account for their stewardship? Ado Bayero, you haven't seen something yet!
