Is Baba Wade offering a last-minute deal?

Today's Seneweb includes this brief item: "A few hours before the 2012 presidential vote, Cardinal Theodore Adrian Sarr and the Senegalese Association of Bishops were received by the President of the Republic. Emerging from the meeting, the head of the Senegalese Catholic church confirmed in a press conference that President Wade is ready to dialogue with the opposition in order to end the crisis."

wade the West says time to say good bye to mama africa

When late Gaddafi told african leaders that Rothschild, Morgan and Warburg brethrens were after the oil wealth of Libya and that they were attempting to use UN, NATO and the AU to murder him, some of us laughed at him. It was the likes of Wade the West relied on to beat the war drums for Gaddafi to go. Gaddafi pleaded in vain to leaders in Africa to come to his aid to no avail. The facts are that national sovereignty, which is the ability of the People of Africa to organise around their nation-states, to make the final decisions on their own internal affairs, from being a sharply defined concept, designed to aid the ideals that democracy stands for in d globe, is now so eroded and diffused that no one can readily define exactly what sovereignty means today in Africa except our past colonial masters. Its either you are with them in the West, or against the Obamas, Sarkozy and Cameron-that is why Wade often listens to the cock crowing at dawn in the West instead of senegal. cheers
