@Polaroid,non of the the despots and robbers who ruled,ruined,raped and divided Nigeria from 1960 was from the pentecostal or charismatic persuation!All the presidents,vice presidents,governors, deputies,national asembly and major coporations leaders are either muslim or christian of orthodox persuation i.e Anglican,Catholic,Baptist et'al.Pentecoatals really became popular from 90s as a reaction to poverty,but weti-e,twelve-two-third,gradual destruction of institution of developments, decadence of NNPC,NEPA,NPA,Airways, Universities and the rest dated back to pre-pentecostal era.The only guilt of pentecostals in Nigeria is that instead of confronting the menance,they seek survival rather.

Many church leader or church overseer under the cloak of church made billions of dollars to enrich themselves at the expense of the church members.A church overeer who bought a private jet, what will he say that he will do with the jet? The money he spposed to use to help the less privilage he used it at the detriment of his member s. God will never forgive such church overseer. He will not only go to prison but hell fire. l

Jesus Christ says that enemy of man is his own household, therefore the Church which is the household of Christ is his # one enemy. They lack wisdom to understand the personality of Christ. Let me ask you, since you became Pastor have you preach for freedom of Gays and Lesbians? What, if John and Thomas of disciples of Jesus Christ were gays. what if Martha was a Lesbian? Have you preach how Judas Iscariot shall regained his freedom from hell? who was the treasury of Christ. Have you think of giving Christ to Muslims?Like he told Moses in bank of Red Sea to raised him Christ in his hand above his head and above the Red Sea. Give Christ to his enemy!!! Difficult not to view our church leadership in the same light as political one.

exploiting their flock - so their hell naturally starts on earth and beyond.
It is good for the pastor to lead in condemning the conduct of many revered
clerics - his own take on the criticism can be taken with a 'pinch of salt'. He'd
have constructed doubts in the minds of people when he got into
politics - a move not essentially suited to his public image

One reason l like pastor Bakare, he says it the way he sees it. Speak the truth even if your voice is shaking, it will set you free. John 8:32

I really respect this Pastor for challenging the government.

The only issue I have with Bakare regarding critising Pastors buying jets is a confusing one. I was in a congregation in Victory Church, Hamsptead in London around 1992 thereabout, when Pastor Bakare pointed out his "Pilot" to the audience sitting in the congregation. It stunned the audience of immigrant cleaners and students at the time.

Unless Bakare was just embelishing the truth (which we all do occasionally) or he has forgotten he had a jet in the 90's.

This isn't said to discredit him, but just to jog his memory.

All general overseers are "Tin-gods of Gullible Men". And they know this to be true.
