Re: Stop this Fake Nationalist Sentiment

"A typical Ivorian is happier he's out."

Oh, you mean all those I didn't see come out to celebrate his departure? Have you ever seen an evil leader leave and people don't pour out onto the street to celebrate?

Yes, indeed, he was due to have been out 5 years ago, but you expected him to just pack up and leave? Or hold election in the middle of a civil war with France doing everything to make sure Outtara won? Those that know Ouattara well will tell you he's a very dangerous man, don't let that gentle mien deceive you. Anyway, Ouattara is there now, as illegitimate as his presidency is, we shall soon all see who he really is.

French recolonisation of Africa at top gear

My African people please do well and open your eyes a little bit. Could any of you tell me in any part of France where Ivory Coast has a military facility? Yet, in Ivory Coast the French still have their war arsenals, military installations and barracks everywhere and dictating what happens both inside and outside Ivory Coast and other Francophone countries in Africa, decades after their supposed independence. If things try to slip out of their hand, they would play ethnic, religious and tribal cards to destabilize the system and reshape it to their favor. Is Gababo longer in office than other francophone African country leaders
But like the way it is anything Europe wants, America will support it and it becomes the norm, and “my people go the follow, follow.
Oh! I weep for my African people!

Stop this Fake Nationalist Sentiment

We must learn to see realities as they are and refuse to be blinded by nationalist sentiments that serve no other purpose other than to entrench some people in power. Gbagbo has done his bit. He was due to have been out five years ago, he scuttled the process. A typical Ivorian is happier he's out. Now I am sure they won't have to carry a pass before moving within their own country.

You sell your cocoa, put most

You sell your cocoa, put most of the money in french bank and when you now need it, you take it back as a loan on which you're charged exorbitant interest... your own money. A true leader says no, then they turn around and start demonizing him with all sorts of propaganda and all our people buy into it and call for his head. Na wa for Africa o if these are the kinds of youths she produces now. History books are there: go and read about Lumumba, Nkrumah, Sekou Toure. The system they use to destabilize the continent has not changed, we're the one that need to pull up our pants!

You're all saying he should have left - so could MKO - but some people prefer to die for their chosen cause. Gbagbo and his wife don't need your pity, they have been political activists for over 20 years at the risk to their lives, what they need is for you to take a cue from this and learn your history and prepare to fight off the monster of recolonization. Then he would have won after all even in death.

Re: I weep for Africa

With the comments that I too have read here, I now believe that it is over for Africa. This is a lost cause if an average African totally lacks pride and fails to read this for what it is. They call him sit-tight for spending 8 out of 10 years dealing with an uprising planned in France... wonder what we should now call Biya, Campaore, Gnassingbe and others aligned with france who have been in power forever.
What makes it even more worrisome is that we're completely surrounded by all these places that france is recolonizing. Without France manipulating things at the ICC and nudging Cameroon on, we would still have what is rightly ours today. They've successfully taken Bakassi who knows what their sight is going to be on next. Under the watch of the first American black president Africa is slowly but surely being recolonized... Obama, you try o.

NEO-COLONIALISM IN FULL GEAR!

My African people please do well and open your eyes a little bit. Could any of you tell me in any part of France where Ivory Coast has a military facility? Yet, In Ivory Coast the French still have their latest war arsenals and military installations and barracks everywhere and dictating what happens in Ivory Coast and other Francophone countries in Africa, decades after their supposed independence.

NEOCOLONIALISM IN AFRICA AT FULL GEAR

Unfortunately some bloggers here are ignorant of the situation in Ivory Coast. No wonder they are confused in their judgment. Alassane Ouattara is a French and western stooge. Before this time they have supported the radical French educated history professor Laurent Gbagbo against the long time and post independence ruler Félix Houphouët-Boign. But as Ggbabo ascends to power and gradually became nationalist like his predecessor by introducing the policy of Ivoirianess, meaning Ivory Coast for Ivoirians, something akin to Africa for Africans, immediately the French turned against him. Quattara had been their stooge, in order to actualize their plan in Ivory Coast, many years they have been nurturing him in the United Nations for a situation like this.

I weep for Africa

From some comments I have read above, I now know where Africa is as it is. Africans need to be seriously educated. Do some of you know that Ouattara married his wife, Dominique Nouvian Folloroux, who is French Jewish, in a 1990 wedding ceremony officiated by the then Mayor of Neuilly-sur-Seine, Nicolas Sarkozy? Wake up Africans and stop treating yourselves shabbily in order to please the imperialist! I weep for Africa!

Fool.

Gbagbo is an idiot. So many lives lost, unnecessarily, because of his insatiable lust for unbridled power and its accompaniments.

They should jail him and throw the keys away.

This is so unfortunate. Why

This is so unfortunate. Why must our leaders allow things to degenerate to this level? Is something wrong with the African blood?

I pity him and his wife. So sad!

GIVE GEJ 12 MONTHS, HE WOULD BECOME LIKE HIS ELDERS IN AFRICA.

They should not

Quattara and The French should not maltreat Gbabgo. Though he should face the law but not be treated inhumanly

on gbagbo

shame to bad people like gbagbo! i have no pity for him & in fact the hottest place in hell shld be reserved for vampires like him. if not, when u consider the number of lives that were lost on account of gbagbo clinging on to power you wont wish that he be kept alive the next minute. it pains me that too many innocent people would have to die like that simply becos gbagbo lost an election. what a shameful end! shame to him & his entire generation. did i hear you say he is a professor of HISTORY! if really he is, then i dare say that; he is a fool. becos only fools learns nothing from history!

thanks,

France and Africa

Dont know when the UN started engaging in wars. What happened in Ivory coast is a big shame on Africa. Quatarra is an imposition by the french that is why they are very particular about the situation. African leaders failed to support Gbagbo. France is the enemy not Gbagbo.

Good Radiance to bad Rubbish

Gbagbo`s ignominious exit should serve as a lesson and a warning to other African despots that "nothing is permanent except Change"

GBAGBO IS A DISGRACE

HIS IS A PROFESSOR OF HISTORY. NOW, I WONDER HOW HE GOT TO BE A PROF.
TO ME HE IS NOT FIT TO BE IN GOVT. CONSIDER THE NUMBER OF LIVES LOST DURING THE POWER GAME.
GBAGBO IS ADISGRACE TO HUMAN RACE.

MRS GBAGBO WAS ALSO KNOW TO

MRS GBAGBO WAS ALSO KNOW TO ALWAYS SLAP PARLIAMENTARIANS.GOOD RIDDANCE.THEY DESERVE TO BE TREATED FAIRLY IN MY OPINION

The waterloo of Gbagbo

I have no pity for the ex-wicked President. What else on this earth was he looking for? They beg him, persuaded him, negotiated with him and later threathened him. All to no avail,I think he deserves the disgrace meted on him. He should be made to apologise to all Ivorians before taking his case to International Court in Hague , just like his brother, Charles Taylor.

YOU CAN NOT SEE ANY THING THERE

HE DID NOT SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR.LOOK FOR THE LINK BRO.

This does not call for

This does not call for occupation by French forces. A lesson for other African leaders. Allowing these evil foreigners on the continent is a bad spell for Africa. 21st century colonization by the racists. My heart bleeds for Africa. The same will rule via their proxy, quatarra.

The woman is always behind the trone

True my brother. just as they says, behind any successful man, there is a woman, so also, behind any autocratic, despotic, corrupt etc throne, there is woman. Just as we we start seeing Dame Jonathan junketing round the country in search of votes for her husband, i am sure we have another Turai in the offering. You know, we have a short memory in this country

Open your eye

Africans shine your eye open your brain this French fighting. To protect their interest 1 year from now. Yu will see clearly. But I blame the two big fool leaders that allow it. Again I weep for. Ivory coast and africa

SHINE YOUR EYES

AFRICANS WAKE UP AND SHINE YOUR EYES.
CHECK CBN NEWS OF 04/12/2011 ON TBN AND SEE THE TRUE
STORY. GBAGBO IS A VICTIM OF FRENCH COLONIALISM, PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It should have been Olusegun

It should have been Olusegun Obasanjo on the video. His time is coming too. You can be assured of that.

When these animals are in power, they do not care about how to unite the country. They concentrate on enriching themselves and barking like wild monkeys. They deserve every humiliation coming to them. Too many innocent people died because the thugs in power. Therefore the death of any thugs does not concern me - let it be televised so that others can learn good lessons. Obasanjo, are you watching?

@Bayo Fasheun, It was

@Bayo Fasheun, It was reported from the beginning that Gbagbo's wife was a major power broker in IC and she is responsible for most decisions made by the presidency. Most women would have given their husbands a better advice rather than end up on utube as the joke of the century. And thsi guy is a hypocrite. Talking about neo colonialism and he has a half white son.

Shame on Africans

Shame on Africans. How can you respondents here understand that this is imperialism in action?
