Comrade Esele, I appreciate

Comrade Esele, I appreciate your efforts. I know that the problem of trust cannot be solved finally untill all the organs of government are working under serious discipline and transparency.I will be interested in a copy of your presentation to the National Assembly. My e mail is 3princes1@gmail.com if you will want my address via that.

Fight for yourself

I get so irritated when some confused nigerians tend to condemned the leaders of TUC/NLC over the suspension of the strike. If i may ask does the actions of NLC/TUC prevented you guys from embarking on protest why cant you go ahead with the protest you fools. The UNEP report that exposed the pollution of the Ogoni land and the entire niger delta why didnt you guys protest.

What happened to the N65 or nothing demand?

All this long speech tells the whole story. When you negoitiate from a position of strength, anything short of your demands, is a failure. The long speech/explanation for compromise, shows "ghana must go" has been moved around, moved very close to the story teller. What happened to the N65 or nothing demand? Egunje na him spoli Lagos!

Not impressed

The protest had an agenda, to revert to the price PMS was before the the removal of subsidy, hence usurping the negotiating team. However, I do not hear anything from the labour leader to assert why labour agreed outside the agenda of the protest. All this seems to do is to encourage leaders to usurp the powers of negotiating committees in a democratic government, which is away to force their decisions on Nigerians. On the other hand, the labour leader should be aware that it is only a matter of time if things do not get better people would react and he should understand the fact that the Arab spring was not coordinated by labour!!! The instinct of survival is enough to mobilise and sustain a protest and not LABOUR!!!

SHUT UP AND DECLARE YOUR ASSETS UNDER OATH.

This fellow has probably collected enough bribe for his next ten generations.Nigerians should watch him as he tries to justify his soon to be seen loot.He will hide it for a while then start living like a lord, he must never be trusted again in this country.

the traitors wanted regime change via fuel protest-animals

I laugh at what @wahala, tundemess and saad ibrahim posted here during their failed plan for regime change in 9ja called fuel subsidy protest. Over a thousand killed during the post election riot in the North. 9jas did nothing. We sat like mumus and watched BH killed our ppl! But b/c some wanted GEJ removed so badly, they used bakare to canvass openly for regime change. I told all those who cared to listen to me that, revolutions in the 3rd world, are organised by the west for the bakares and BHs of Africa. We did not fight for our freedom. Some few elites sat together with the brits and got it on a platter of gold without a single plan for the nation. If the custodians of our resources say our oil in the niger delta belongs to them, therefore no resources control for us. Then why lie to us that they want to stop members of the old regions from continuing with their stealing of our resources in the creeks? True federalism is what we yearn for not fuel importers.

U did well-a patriot to the core! they wanted regime change!

Peter Esele compromised.

I commend NLC/TUC for their initiatives……..but to have compromised in the course of the protest is a thing I find degrading to the sensibility of Nigerians.
It is also clear that Peter Esele compromised going by the excerpts of the interview - he clearly stated that his allegiance is to those who pay his bills, and not to the genuine demands of Nigerians.
My take is; if he had reservations with the decisions of the directorates of NLC/TUC EC he should have honorably resigned his position as President of TUC, as any honorable citizen would have done – I would for one accord him more respect for such than low moral stand………...
Power belong to the people. We must bring genuine change to Nigeria soon.

shut up that your rotten

shut up that your rotten mouth esele or whatever you call your self. the deal which you made was 65 naira or nothing so cut the crap and arrogance that you have just displayed here after you and omar sold your soul and to imagine that people died for nothing. next time when you call a strike only you and omar would be on the street mschew!!! blood on you and omars hands for those who died.

those who lived abroard that occupy the streets did not do it for you so don't come here yaning nonsense and talking rubbish... i wish it was sowore who did this interview with you then you would have seen yourself nonsense!!!!

Esele & Omar are Traitors

There is nothing Peter Esele and Omar can say that can make us believe in their unpatriotic and self-centered unions anymore. Now we know you guys in NLC/TUC have no ideology that you guys are advocating for except for your own personal self. After all, your so-called predecessor, Adams Oshiomole, sold out.

But it is good that NLC/TUC sold out now. In the next period of the inevitable revolution (as it shall surely come), now we know NLC/TUC will not be part of us the people.

Shameless idiot coming on Sahara Reporter to extricate himself after selling out to the dogs in Aso Rock!

PETER ESELE - KEEP ON FIGHTING

Carry on Peter, it's not easy dealing with the evil people that have held Nigeria to ransome. Even the most incorruptible man will be seduced by evil men in the corridor of power. History is replete with progressive who gets suck into the Nigerian system, Tai Solarin, Oshiomole, the information Minister, to mention but a few. My brother do according to the dictates of your conscience.

Never.

Comrade Esele, Nigerians will never listen to u people again. This's a total sell out.

Peter Esele's Interview

People who have not been in the position of leadership thinks is easy to confront and challenge this greedy leaders who are enriching themselves and ready to crush any obstacle by any means.

My brother you have tried whoever say you sold out and things like that, should continue from where you stopped.Thank God you are still fighting.

Continue playing your good role COMRADE God help you.
Be preparing to be Governor of EDO STATE someday I see it happening very soon.

such a short sighted fool

you short sighted ignorant idiot have no sense of what a true democracy is.smart people play the long game.the southwest play the long game.people are waiting for jona badluck at the polls.the militants can go back to the creek. the earlier they blow up the oil installations, the better.it is a curse.i reckon he will bail and run. but if he decides to contest , he is toast.he is simply the worst and most incompetent president nigeria has ever had.he even makes abacha look competent.jonathan could have made Nigeria the most united and peace place in the southern hemisphere by simply performing.no surprise that you think sending the military against peaceful protest is good because i know you are one of those nigerians who have been found to be psychologically unfit to drive a car not talk of joining issues in a civil discourse.begone fool

They are all fraudster,

They are all fraudster, thiefs and heartless. God damm u all

ITS OK GO AND SPEND YOUR BRIBE MONEY!!!

Bullshitter, this guy must think the Sahara readers are illiterates like the major masses in Nigeria. He is what the Oyinbo will say speaking without a definite answer. Never answered questions. Looking at your eyes one can see that he has been compromised. "Young people cannot call for a strike for God's sake". Why does he have to argue his point screaming all over the place. You've collected, its ok, Nigeria will still experience change. Go and spend your money..

the question was why didnt

the question was why didnt they revert to 65naira?????
He never answered that.

FOOL!!!!!

Too bad

Peter Esele just exposed himself as a very arrogant young man. I feel so sad about this.

LIAR!!!

There is no doubt about the fact that the young man together with his co-hort from the NLC have been silenced by the the powers that be. He should swear by SANGO that he never received anything during the negotiations.

Peter:You acted maturely for national interest

Peter I think you can forgive the younger ones who only make their judgement base on fantasy.Even the fool Tundemash boasted that they will cage Jonathan during the protest, after It was Jonathan that caged them and they started crying.Do not mind the cowards who said that you sold out, what did they do after you sold out? They should have continued the struggle without you. They are the cowards shouting for revolution, arab springs and all those nonsense when the stage was set their revolt fizzled out.Pastor Tunde Bakare cowardly call off the revolution when army was waiting for them at Ojota. It is good that you sold out to preserve national unity and peace, well done !!!!

sell out.

The TUC/NLC leaders are sell out.

Sweet talk

Sweet talk is not the same as good argument. Esele was unable to address the core issues raised in the interview. The deduction is that he "sold out" because some people wated to take advantage of the protest.

@Jaduga,

I love your comments alot,he Esele is quite a traitor so i rest my case!!!

Minimum wage for workers is must.

Civil servant in nigeria must earn their salaries triple or atleast quadruple to what they 're presently earning.if we luk at wat ws hppening currently in this nation, frm president down to hs cabals the kind of monies they 've been spending on their meals, trips and other miscellenious.workers must be paid well so that they in return can work well.

Deception

Diezeni and GEJ is seriously looting NNPC and milking this country. Fighting corruption in Nigeria will not happen under GEJ because of the corrupt tendencies of the GEJ. Diezeni and the ministers are sabotaging this country for GEJ, that is why we will coninue to have problem. NLC, TUC are rubbish. Nigeria should never follow these unions again on any issue.

A lot of words - nothing to sway

I listened to this and just heard a lot of words coming from a seemingly arrogant young man.

The deal was to revert to N65 BEFORE any negotiations. It could not be clearer. The NLC/TUC let Nigerians down again.

They should just have said they were afraid on the consequences on their personal lives (e.g jail time), apologise for not being patriotic enough and plead for understanding. Instead we hear a lot of arrogant, unremorseful words. What a sell-out. I bet you his conscience still pricks.

NLC/TUC

NLC & TUC Leaders are merchandise trading the masses to the Government using strike and demonstration as there trading channels

bad betrayal than Judas Iscariot

you have lost a majormark from Nigeria youth. Just pray there would be no revolution with time, all the prople who cheat on us and the interest of Nigeria masses including you shall be mercilessly dealth with. Come out open and apologise. you arguement cant bail you. nigeria youth is more pained by your action. We hate you. You are a traitor, denial and betrayal

not sincere

this guy is not sincere,he can not be trusted.

Deceptive labor leaders

Esele failed woefully to win the trust of many Nigerians like me in this interview. It is good however that he was allowed the platform to tell his own version even though he evaded most of the vital issues. The lesson here is that labor leaders cant be trusted.Labor has been found to be a good platform for name making which ultimately metamorphoses into political ambition.Adams Oshomole was a good case study and Esele corroborated it by his admittance in this interview of his political ambition. This further confirms my suspicion of under table tips given the capital intensive nature of electioneering in a Warped society like Nigeria. The truth here is that Nigerians are now wiser as to continue to enrich these idiots through strikes. once bitten, twice shy.The next civil action will be staged by Esele, Umar and their respective families and the rest of us will be spectators. May the police visit them with the same brutality they have visited us all this while.
