Five Suspects Arrested In Kano Bomb Attacks—Nigeria Police

He added that two of the suspects were being held “in connection with the foiled bomb attack at Isyaku Rabiu Mosque, while three were arrested in connection with the attack at St. Charles Catholic Church.” The PRO revealed that all the suspects were currently being interrogated.

The Nigeria police say they have arrested five suspects in yesterday’s bomb attack at a Catholic church in the ancient city of Kano that claimed several lives.
 
In a statement released late yesterday by Frank Mba, the public relations officer at Police Headquarters Abuja, the police disclosed that their operatives had arrested five suspects in the course of “on-going investigations into the various terror-related incidents that occurred in Kano.”
 
Mr. Mba stated that five male suspects had so far been picked up “for their complicity in the attacks.”

“Intensive patrols are ongoing, citizens are advised to be vigilant and report any suspicious person or activities to security forces,” the police stated.
