Chopper crashes in Delta State

Almost two weeks after a major air crash in Abuja, Saharareporters received information about another air crash in a village in the Niger Delta area of Delta State, one person is dead and 3 others injured.

The helicopter owned by a Lagos-based air charter company -OAS- collided with an electrical pole on its way to Port Harcourt from Lagos. The helicopter was chartered by an oil corporation to airlift their staff to an oil platform. The identities and nationality of the dead and injured victims are unknown at the time of filing this report.
