Anambra and Enugu state declares "No Elections"

Anambra state witnessed massive election violence and voter intimidation by PDP candidate, Mr. Andy Uba who was accused by opposition figures of voter fraud. There were reports of electoral violence and rigging which led Gov. Peter Obi to declare that there was no election in Anambra State.

The same problems were rampart in Enugu State, where it is reported that a number of people were killed by armed thugs hired by the PDP. The Senate President, Ken Nnamani has declared also that there were no elections in the state and as such it will be unnecessary for INEC to declare a winner.

Today's governorship and state assembly election was marred by violence, voter fraud, and massive logistical failure due to poor preparations by INEC. Saharareporters received reports of close to 50 persons killed in election violence before close of poll today across Nigeria.
