Terry Waya Sentenced by London Court

August 6, 2007

The Southwark Crown Court in London today sentenced Terry Waya to 80 hours community service which he is required to serve within the next twelve months. On July 10 2007 47 year old Waya was found guilty of obtaining money transfers by deception in relation to a mortgage of £465k with G.E. money - money to buy his London property at 18A Northgate, Prince Albert Road, London NW87RE.

Saharareporters learnt from prosecutors that he gave false information in his application about his status; posing as a highflying manager at Goldman Sachs in order to fraudulently secure the bank loan worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.

British Metropolitan Police authorities claimed that Terry Waya, 47, lied repeatedly to lenders to take out one mortgage after another on a £1million apartment.

A confiscation hearing is scheduled for October 5th 2007.
