Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) said they are still holding Mrs. Ndidi Okereke –Onyiuke over her controversial involvement in a fundraiser for US Democratic party presidential hopeful, Barack Obama.
The Director General of the Nigerian Stock Exchange was arrested last night and detained overnight at the headquarters of the anti-graft agency in Abuja.
Sources told SaharaReporters that she would be made to refund the illegal funds raised in Lagos on behalf of Obama through an expensive concert last week.
Her international travel documents were earlier confiscated by the EFCC to prevent her from fleeing the country.
