In one of his first acts as the President of the United States, President Barack Hussein Obama today ordered the immediate suspension of the Bush-era illegal detention and persecution prosecution of so-called "Enemy Combatants" in Guatanamo for at least 120 days - delivering on one of the promises of his campaign, and signalling that his promise to restore the prestige and ideals of the American polity is no empty promises. Ostensibly, a 120-day suspension of the judicial mockery will give Mr. Obama sufficient time to figure out an orderly closure of the Universal Eyesore.
