The wife of Timi Alaibe, the managing director of the Niger Delta Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Alaere Alaibe has died of cancer in London. She died earlier today following a long battle with cancer. Mrs. Alaibe is the founder of the Family Reorientation Education and Empowerment (FREE Foundation). Though she was born in Lagos , Alaere hails from Trofani in Sagbama local government area of Bayelsa state.
She is survived by her husband Timi and five children.
