Federal Court Declares the arrest and detention of US-based Blogger Emmanuel Asiwe Illegal

Emmanuel Asiwe's detention by the State Security Services (SSS) declared illegal by a Federal High Court in Abuja. Emmanuel is the pubisher of the online blog, Huhuonline.com. He was arrested at the Murtala Mohammed International Airpot in Lagos last October, he was subsequently detained under harsh conditions and had his travel documents confiscated.
