Accusing Court of Appeal Judge of Corruption is Wrong

February 14, 2009

I am writing this letter to show my disappointment on how your media outfit is going about humiliating and disgracing innocent Nigerians.

Although some of your few readers in Nigeria have come to terms that your medium always write make belief stories, and it is just a medium to  laugh and ease out stress.

Your media outfit is taking advantage of the fact that Nigerians are very patient people and also for the fact that you are based in the states to ridicule and malign highly placed officials, I have carefully taken time to read some of your articles and I did not see one article that was written to praise any individual, all your articles are written to malign individuals that have excelled in their different careers, sorry to say that your medium thrives on rumor mill and hear say.

Finally, I don't see the reason why you should go to a national daily and retrieve the picture of a justice of the court of appeal and place it on your photo gallery, that is criminal to say the least, it can never happen in a civilized world. Accusing a Judge of corruption is a very serious allegation, and it is quite different from accusing a politician of such, Nigerians are used to that so it does not border them.

In election petitions there is always a winner and a loser and you guys don't seem to agree,  there can never be two winners you also failed to let your readers know that the said judge you are now humiliating canceled five houses of assembly election, and a national assembly result in Ebonyi, Ogbonnaya onu never came to court to defend his petition and was asking the court to declare him the  winner of an election he claimed was violent, does it make sense, you be the judge
