The electoral Appeals tribunal panel sitting in Benin, Edo State has awarded the gubernatorial election to Olusegun Mimiko of the Labour Party.

Appellate panel upholds the judgement of the lower court upholding Mimiko's 12 grounds of appeal. Mimiko, according to today's ruling, won in 12 out 18 local governments in Ondo State. Agagu is to vacate office immediately.
