Open Letter to Vincent Ogbulafor- The New garrison Commander of PDP?

March 6, 2009
Incidentally and unfortunately the Igbos have been at the receiving end both in human casualty and materially whenever there is religious crises in Northern Nigeria or in the middle belt orchestrated by the Muslim Hausa men and women.

I was thinking by now Mr Ogbulafor would have asked his Igbos brothers in Bauchi, Kano or even Jos before coming to judgment on Da David Jonah Jang. May be Mr Ogbulafor was a baby in 1990 when Hausa Muslim fundamentalists behaved an Igbo man called Gideon Akaluka in Kano and paraded his head on a stick round Kano metropolis for two days at their pleasure. It will also interest Mr Ogbulafor to know that Saint Fatima Catholic Church Cathedral in Jos which is the target of the Muslim Hausas is almost exclusively an Igbo people Church. It will also interest Mr Ogbulafor I believe to know that before Jonah Jang was Chief Joshua Chibi Dariye who was the immediate past Governor of Plateau state who now is the darling of the Muslim Hausas in Jos but was their arch-enemy when he was the Governor

Before I continue I advise Mr Vincent? Ogbulafor to obtain a copy of the Leadership newspaper of December 1, 2008 and read the interview by one Sheik Dahiru Bauchi about the mission of the Muslim Hausas on the Plateau and the Middle belt particularly and Nigeria in general.

When I read in the papers recently statements attributed to Mr Ogbulafor calling Da Jonah Jang as recalcitrant, I initially assumed he was naïve and innocent but on a second thought I changed my mind and concluded that he must be the new stooge on the blocs who is ready to sell his birth right for a morsel of pottage and mortgage the future of the Igbo race in the Nigerian pseudo-federalism.

For an egalitarian Federal Republic of Nigeria, Da David Jonah Jang should be commended for standing up to fight feudalism and fascism of the highest order. We are happy with the excellent performance of Da David Jonah Jang as Governor of Plateau state so far and in fact Jonah Jang will always win a free and fair election on the Plateau therefore he might not need your PDP the party of crooks. I challenge you to urge your operational arm the INEC to conduct free and fair election and see the outcome and the result.

Da David Jonah Jang is a hero in the shoe of people like Chief Awolowo, General TY Danjuma, MKO Abiola, Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu, JS Tarka, Chief Gani Fawehinmi and even Major Gideon Orkar of blessed memory if you may excuse me!

Mr Ogbulafor sir, what happens to true Federalism and rule of Law? Which one is superior between your PDP and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which Da David Jonah Jang has sworn to preserve and protect? Da Jonah Jang simply put is following the rule of Law by going to court to seek his rights as the Governor of Plateau state which eminent jurists including Professor Auwalu Yadudu albeit reluctantly  acknowledged has constitutional right to investigate the Jos  crisis. ‘Yabon gwani ya zama dole’ as a Hausa adage will say

I want to remain you of some few instances to refresh your memory you. You might have dementia I guess.

The struggle on the Plateau and in the whole of Northern Nigeria is not a political issue but rather religious which is a monster which might consume the whole of Nigeria until the Koran is dipped in the Atlantic ocean as is being preached by mallams in the North.

Yesterday, Chief Joshua Dariye was the enemy of the Muslim Hausa men on the Plateau while Jonah Jang was their friend. Today however is a different beat Jonah Jang now is the monstrous enemy because he is out to tell the truth as it is.

While Mr Ogbulafor, like Mordecai said in the book of Esther in the Bible, if you think you are in wadata plaza today it will not reach you or affect you then you are dead wrong. God will surely raise people who will talk against the evil being perpetrated again the Plateau people by the Muslim Hausa feudal lords who now want to conquer Plateau at all cost. Check all the crises started by Muslim Hausas on the Plateau viz: - 1990, 1994, 2001, 2004 and 2008 all started on Fridays after their sallah. Not to mention Zango Kataf, Kafanchan, Tafawa-balewa, Abuja, Bauchi, Kaduna, and Kano the centre of mother of all crises

Mr Ogbulafor Sir, power is transient. Otherwise ask your predecessor Lord Dr Alhaji Colonel –General Chief Ahmadu Ali, the first Garrison commander of PDP.

I can assure you that by the time the Muslim Hausa man uses you and dumps you, you will be so sorry for yourself that nobody will buy you for one kobo. Colonel Ahmadu Ali nobi so?

Better still ask General Gowon, Alex Ekueme or even General Ishaya Bamaiyi or even General Jerry Useni or even Peter Odili your brother.

Therefore it will be in your interest to leave Da David Jonah Jang alone to continue with his good work on the Plateau. You will surely need him when the tide changes which will come sooner than you will expect.

Thank you for your patience to read this letter.
