Ekiti "Electoral Robbery": Engineer Segun Oni of PDP Declared winner!

Image removed.UPDATE:It is now official, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Engineer Segun Oni has been declared winner by the Ekiti State's Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mrs. Ayoka Adebayo. After making the announcement, she was ferreted out of the chaotic collation center by a combined team of mobile policemen and State Security Services officials.


Even as crowds at the collation center refuses to allow Ekiti's REC, Mrs. Ayoka Adebayo, declare the final results of the Ekiti State election, she has reacted to the restless crowd that anyone aggrieved should "go to court", but opposition party members are not backing down.

Saharareporters learns that PDP officials are making serious preparations for the swearing-in ceremony of PDP candidate, Segun Oni with the state acting judge on standby. The police and the security agencies with a large retinue of members in Ekiti have been told to crack down on "troublemakers" in order to forestall a breakdown of order as people in the state become more agiated over the final results. the national televison station-Nigeria Televison Authority (NTA) has also discontinued live broadcast of the events at the collation center as arguments broke between the two major parties.
