May 4, 2009

Image removed.INEC has announced that the 15,000 controversial votes from Ido-Osi local government is valid before the anouncement of the results the chief returning officer of the election, Mrs. Ayoka Adebayo,  who last week resigned her commission over plans to force her to announce fake results in Ido-Osi local government, was prevented from leaving her vehicle.

The vehicle, a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Toyota PRADO car with Abuja registration number SA 69 ABC, has been cordoned off, and she has been refused permission to step away from it.

The car is reported to be surrounded by 10 fierce looking and well armed security agents at the premises of Girls High School, Ado Ekiti.  When Saharareporters contacted her aides at 6:40 PM local time, they asked that we wait for another one hour before she can address the media regarding the final winner of the elections.
