I write as a General commanding the Sekpeneweri camp and Asawana Protectors.The Federal Government of Nigeria and JTF has told too many lies about what is happening in Gbaramatu kingdom and I challenge them to show the world one wounded or death militant? They have been killing innocent people, women and children claiming they are looking for TOM POLO.
Let the world know that they have all been part of the crisis in the Niger Delta, fuelling and funding crisis so that they will always be relevant. We are all business partners except the women and children who are now the victims.
This fight is about who should control the oil business in the Niger Delta of Nigeria especially now that Governor Uduaghan is insisting the JTF must leave Delta state; the military chief(s), the JTF, the boys working for the politicians and those in office aka militants, or the business men aka bunkerers, the tanks and vessels owners who are largely ex-military chief(s) the Oil companies and International business men who buy and sell this illegally bunkered oil or the men Chief(s) Leaders, Elders, and Traditional rulers from the Niger Delta region who have been errand boys to all the groups and know the terrain well.
Are the military and Federal Government embarrassed to say that this is a killing for oil? a killing against the International laws governing the extraction of oil? This is a killing for selfish economic control. Why has the JTF not told the people and International community how much they make from illegal bunkering and the Government of the Niger Delta states? Why has the military chief(s) not told us their roles in sustaining the crimes in the Niger Delta? This genocide is simply to prove to Governor Uduaghan that he needs and must keep and pay them,as they must justify the (444.9b) Four Hundred forty four Billion ,Nine Hundred Million Naira Niger Delta security vote approved by the Yar’dua led PDP Government.
We are all ready to die for the protection of our land and oil. They will either leave our resources and lands or allow us run it the same way they run the solid minerals found in Northern region of the Nigeria.
