A Rejoinder: Narsir El-Rufai´s Manifesto Upon President Yar´Adua

May 31, 2009

A Rejoinder: Narsir El-Rufai´s Manifesto Upon President Yar´Adua: "... no imperium is absolute, no victory is complete." So said, Salman Rushdie author of the controversial 'The Satanic Verses'

President Yar´Dua, VP Jonathan Goodluck, House of Representatives linchpin Bankole are all university graduates. How has that bettered the fortune of Nigeria in the past two years?

Orji Kalu, Ibori, Saraki, El-Rufai &co.&co. are young and new generation of leaders. How has that made a good case for generational change in the leadership of Nigeria? Newer generation leaders in Nigeria are no less corrupt than older ones. Most political leaders in Indian are old school type. There’s corruption in Indian no doubt, but Nigeria’s´ own outpaces Hers plus despite this, democracy and genuine rule of law is on the march in Indian.

El-Rufais´ exposure is made expedient as a result of the palaver they have in sharing their fraudulent loots, accordingly. He’s not the genuine McCoy Nigerians yearned for. If he could serve in Obasanjo´s regime for years without raising an eyebrow, he could as well have served in Adolf Hitler’s´ regime with no sense of scruples.

We owe him a pat on the back for his strives in exposing systemic rots. Likewise, we should join hands together to give him a wicked knock on his small head - the kind he’ll never forget for the rest of his life, for being one of the Lucifarians in Abuja who brought us into this sorriness since 1999 till date. They thought they were in a place of glory when they forced president Yar´Dua upon us; now they’re all have smelling egg on their faces.

Their non-stop greed in advancing personal self-gains blinded them from realising that in every collective vainglorious hustle, a time comes when the falcon can no longer hear the falconers. This is coolly reminiscent of Marry Shelly’s book, 'Dr. Frankenstein. As a young boy, Mr. Frankenstein dreamt of creating a living being. He grew up and created to his surprise, a monster that did everything possible to make the life of its creator miserable as far as contemplating killing him.

El-Rufai and his fast-lane co-persons have created a monster in the person of Yar´Dua who now wouldn’t stop until he kill or capture his creators dead or alive. Another chilling reminiscence in this direction was the United States propping up Bin Laden in Afghanistan in the 1980s against Russia and when their created evil outsized U.S., America become restlessly so like E-Rufai.

Let me now take on some of El-Rufai´s mouthed concerns step-by-step as per his exposition.

He said: "For some of us in President Obasanjo’s government, the elections were disappointing but the best candidate won. We have elected our first University graduate as President..."

It’s superstition and voodooism to pre-guess the outcome of election and want sane people to accept it with scientific certainty. Election in a democracy is in more ways than one, empirical and not naughty by nature as he wont to believe. El-Rufais´ understanding of politics and democracy is parochially laced up with plenty narcissism of small difference. It’s silly nonsense to suppose that being a university graduate stands Yar´Dua up as a perfect leader of a wonder-boy. The extant Brazilian leader Lula Da Silvia is derelict of any university education and yet, he’s working wonders. Using your heart rather than your head and being your neighbours’ and brother’s keeper is what cuts one out as a stand-up leader. Superior education is a must but that’s no magic wand or a cure-all.  When Bill Gates of Microsoft, the richest man in the world set to be self-made, he hadn’t university degree whereupon he opted out of school mid-way.

The weirdest episode in the exposure was how Ribadu agreed to remove Yar´Duas´ name from the list of then, corrupt governors. Ribadu should for the sake of decency, rise up to the occasion and tell the world deftly, under what influence he did such. I knew he was some kind of letdown under President Obasanjo but never in my widest dream did I expect such criminal misstep from him, judging by how he carried himself with the infallibility of the Pope. With so much sinister dealings in the process of boxing President Yar´Dua into office via backdoor, what exactly was expectation of the undertakers? The only reason to adduce for the wholesale underhand is that the gang were only furthering their personal good. The only time I started sympathising with Ribadu was when the extant regime started bulldozing him for all the wrong reasons, come to think of it now: he deserves some of the heavy-hand meted him by their handmade Frankenstein lame-duck of devil sitting in Aso Rock.

As if that was not enough, same Ribadu used the corruption charges hanging upon ex-governor Peter Odili to blackmail him out of the VP nomination - all, in an attempt to please Yar´Adua´s choice of 2i/c. Upon these helping hands rendered to the president by Ribadu, why in hell’s name has he been President’s most hated man? The falcon has surely outsized the falconer and now things have fallen apart with the centre gone with the wind.

The handwriting was on the wall for all the partakers to see. It was clear to them that Yar´Aua is a lazy man, a deviant, dictator, primitive, sinisterly corrupt and despite these, he was crowned president! I’ve never seen any bunch of people make their way so easy before.

Taking his dream to be president as an article of faith and believing to have been healed by a witchdoctor just like that, tells us of what cloth our president is made of.

It’s also note worthy to state from Rufais´ exposition that, the reason the president wouldn’t kill or capture corruption is that most of the people who made him were smugglers, corrupt politicians, prostitute, pimps and suchlike. It’s also indicative to state that because he owes his presidency to help from ex-governors hence his distaste to fight corruption. Only those who’re without sin dare cast the first stone. There’s nothing wrong with it, if he stops bothering us with endless singsong of corruption fighting while he’s only lip-serving. Supporting Obasanjo´s 3rd term was just an avenue for him to also extend his governorship tenure and this, has brought home the fact that Yar´Adua would seek a second term after this dispensation.

Obasanjo knew that Yar´Adua was not the best qualified, he knew that he was not ready to be president hence he neglected calls to join the presidential race. I think president Obasanjo had a sinister motive in forcing him to be president. I would guess that he had thought that Yar´Adua is a die-soon, who’d pass away to the hereafter sooner than thought. That would’ve made VP Jonathan succeed his boss. A Jonathan presidency would’ve meant Obasanjo calling the shots once again.

The bad blood and implosion within the gangster who forced Yar´Adua into the presidency and upon us, has churned asunder because they couldn’t now find a middle ground to share their booties. The apartness of this particular influence-peddling mafia is double relief for Nigerian. Their helter-skelter is a plus for our country.

We shall be happy if El-Rufai and cohorts could expose more. With such expositions, who needs the Freedom of Information Bill?

El-Rufai, Ribadu, 32 corrupt ex-governors of class 1999-2007 &co.&co. were the Satanic Verses of the Obasanjo´s regime. Another bunch of Luciferians have taken over from them extantly, amongst are Aondokaa,  Iwu, Farida Waziri and plenty more in that order.
