Legendary Nigerian human rights attorney and activist, Chief Gani Fawehinmi who died early on Saturday in Lagos is billed to be buried at his home town of Ondo, in Nigeria's Southwest region on Tuesday September 15 2009.
Gani died of lung cancer at the age of 71. His wife, Ganiyat Fawehinmi, has accused former Nigerian military dictator, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida of creating the cancer that killed the late activist. Gani died of lung cancer even though he never smoked cigarettes.
