Detained bank CEOs granted bail-Cecilia Ibru, Ebong, Ololo and Adigwe are free on bail

The bank Chief Executive Officers arrested shortly after the Central Bank of Nigeria intervened in five banks two weeks ago, have ben granted bail by Justice Dan Abutu of the Federal High Court in Lagos.


Each of the accused persons was granted bail to the tune of N100 million and two sureties in like sum.

Those granted bail today includes, Mr. Sebastian Adigwe (Afribank Nigeria Plc),   Dr. Bartholomew Ebong (Union Bank Plc), Mrs. Cecilia Ibru (Oceanic Bank International Plc),  and Peter Ololo (Falcon Securities). Further bail applications are expected to be granted tomorrow.
