Who are our heroes?

November 26, 2009
This is an article to create awareness for people who are suffering, who can't afford a decent job, who can't afford to eat 3 times a day, people who can't get an education because the cant afford it, people who cant get medical attention because they cant afford it. I've always said that we live in a world, where people crave for more income and lack the moral conscience to give back to the poor. One of the greatest quotes I heard this year is "the race of mankind would perish if we cease to aid one another. We cannot exist without mutual help. Therefore everyone who needs aid has a right to ask for it from their fellow men; and no one who has the power in granting it can refuse it without guilt" Friends, there are people whose destiny could be changed if they just has that basic education, there are people who will have hope to go on if they just had that meal, there are people who will change the world, if we lend them an ear and shoulder to cry on… Yesterday, I watched CNN heroes and was moved to tears by what some of the people do. These are people with a normal income going out of their way and healing the world. Its basically not about the recognition, its about the consciousness that one is associated to a cause that is larger than the life we live… One last word, we are not remembered for what we took or amassed we re remembered for what we gave. When you can care enough for the living, then you become an unseen eternal hero As we prepare for the new year, make up your mind to be an eternal Hero! Dottie Tosan'
