Going beyond Umoru Musa Yaradua (Cont.)

December 17, 2009
Another thing that every concerned member of the country should do is to go beyond the current clamour to bombard the gates of heaven on behalf Yaradua. We should seize the initiative by insisting that the vacuum in leadership is undesirable. Even while emphasising that point we should not be oblivious of those who succeed him especially in 2011. The recent boasting by the lameduck vice president Goodluck Jonathan to the effect that PDP will win the 2011 presidential election even if it were to be conducted by the angels 100 times over is their way of testing the ground in preparations for what they know best to do which is rigging. If not there is absolutely nothing on the ground to give them that air of confidence. Remember, when you see a bird dancing on foot path all alone, somebody may be playing the music unseen in the bush. We must therefore shine our eyes. These times we are living in calls for vigilance. If not, we will be aken through the same path of April 2007 come 2011 again.
