Re: Now is the time

January 9, 2010

In as much the unity of this country should not even be negotiated does not mean that the blacks cannot emancipate themselves from this modern day slavery. May be you forget to mention Mandela, the effect of his struggle for South Africa. Don't forget that every struggle has provided a level of relieve and that is why Martin Luther King will smile in relief that a BLACK Obama is the President of the United States of America! At the end the Hamitic Hypothesis does not support the claim of the whites neither is there any empirical reason for this huypothesis.

However, as always, we have opened our doors to the whites because of the greed of some very few.  The Binis fought the British soldiers to a standstill that they had to go back to re-strategise, whilst in some other parts the reverse was the case.  Or you think the fight for the Nigerian independence was a tea party,  you think Saro Wiwa a meaningless death. Just this morning, our senate chickened out of the threat to the United State Government because for us the fear of America is the beginning of wisdom. Teebaby, slavery is a mental state and you can choose where you belong from you your perspective. The web is platform that has really celebrated the expression of our freedom by giving us all options and access to uncensored information.  Someone should remind Dr Ejiogu, that his kinsmen cannot stay together in unity.  The gulf between them is so wide that it make nonsense of their ideology can nourish the flourishing of greed.  He forgets so soon the pending metaphor of Anambra governorship primaries or the last presidential election where his kinsmen could not even produce consensus.  The likes of Ogbulafor, Iwu, Dora Akinyuli, Ojo Madueke, etc and many in  the National Assembly are part of the larger society perpetuating this historic illegality that allows a President leave of absence without handing over.

We got here by greed and mistrust and these days it is very easy to be become arm chair political analyst in Nigeria and tear down everything without due regard to any laudable initiatives. Right from government to Organised Private sector to our NGOs either in the multinationals or the smallest of the SMEs is the reeking odour of corruption. Our filling stations will continue always pray for fuel scarcity, just like some clown will never wish our presidents return, whilst others eagely awaiting his immediate return to continue the status quo.  Just recently, our revered senior bankers that use to sit in all kind of meeting, discussing the development of Nigeria where even found to be the bigger thieves than our political office holders.  Like Teababy replied to the piece of Dr Ejiogu, almost everybody come to the website to write big grammar and in the office short change our commonwealth.

Instead of fighting a selective battles, lets fight together as a people and bring this mockery to an end not because they world is watching but because this is our destiny. A strong and a virile nation that esteems her constitution supreme beyond the myopic and selfish agenda of selective few or region.  We must resolve our challenges together and put up that strengthen the foundation of a new Nigeria.  Apartheid came down in South Africa because the blacks in fought from every front and was to get the sympathy of the world.   Many have already started the fight and we also must join to collectively pull down the selfish minority in power who thinks Nigeria was created for them. Let’s all fight from our own front
