It is very important that people of Anambra State understand what choices they are faced with in the forth coming election of February 6th, 2010. This election presents the people of Anambra with an opportunity to make a choice and insist on that choice being the outcome of this election regardless of whatever Maurice Iwu and his handlers at Abuja may be planning on unleashing in the State. Anambra people must remember the actions of certain people of the State who sponsored killings and destruction of properties across the State in order to register their influence upon the lives of the residents of the State.
It must also not be forgotten on the people that events that take place within the State, have a way of affecting the rest of the people across the South Eastern region.
One of such people is the current candidate of Labour Party Nnamdi 'Andy' Uba of Uga, Aguata local government area of the State. Our people must remember the role that Andy Uba played through his younger brother Chris Uba in destroying state properties across the State especially at Awka, the State capital. I saw first hand the mayhem that was unleashed upon the innocent citizens of the State by criminals that were imported from out of State by Chris Uba through his brother Andy Uba who was then working as special adviser on domestic affairs under the gorilla governmet of Olusegun Obasanjo. It is very clear that the electoral system is deeply corrupt and Nigeria lacks credibility to conduct any type of election, however; the people of Anambra State must rise up come Saturday February 6th and take their destinies in their own hands without fail by saying enough is enough to those that seek to enslave them.
While Andy Uba was in that government, he used it as a cover to punish the people of Anambra and employed hired hands to burn down the State's Radio and TV Stations among other government properties that were torched while the crime lasted. To this day, the Uba brothers are yet to stand trial for the crimes committed against the people of the State. While their mission was to get rid of Dr Chris Ngige who actually was working for the betterment of the people while refusing to hand over the treasury of the State to them, the Uba brothers used luxurious buses to block the high way that run from Onitsha to Enugu. Those buses were set on fire and this was meant to drive fear into the people of the state and to keep them cowered as the destruction was going on.

Chris Uba, a native of Uga in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, have shown great animosity against the people that he now wants govern. To him money buys everything including votes and loyalty. During his ill-fated attempt to rig himself into the government house at Awka at the twilight end of his boss at Aso rock, he did everything to make sure that nothing stood on his way to grab the purse of the State. While the so called election was going on, people from all over the State and out of State were trooping to Umuoru his village in Uga with Ghana must go bags filled with raw cash to buy potential opponents and anyone that mattered. By that time the current PDP candidate Charles Soludo who attended high school at Uga boys high school, was among the donors who brought large amounts of cash to help Andy buy the governorship position of the State. As circumstances will have it, both men are sworn enemies today since they both desire same position in the state at the same time. Nnamdi Uba is a man who contaminates everything and everyone around him. There is a man who is known to be a village philanthropist, it was at this man's country home at Umuoru that large amounts of money was delivered to help finance the purchase of the governorship position of Anambra State for the fake doctor Andy Uba. Chief Vincent Ofolebe the owner of Bencove construction company, a very respected man of the town of Uga, a man who is known to have a good heart was recruited to handle the slush funds that paved the way for Chris Uba to take over the treasury of Anambra State for fourteen days before he he got sent packing by the courts.
With all the injuries and damages that Andy Uba and his brothers brought upon the people of Anambra State, it beats one to imagine that he still have the audacity to present himself as a credible candidate for election into the office of governor to rule the state that they burnt down less than six years ago. It is either he considers the people of Anambra stupid people or he is simply a man without properties of reasoning to consider his latest outing to take over the State as a possibility. It is well known that Maurice Iwu who was recruited by Andy Uba to become the head of the electoral body under the Obasanjo regime, is interested in compensating him by rigging him into office come February 6th, 2010. This is a direct challenge to the people to rise up and pay this vile liar in his own coins. Andy Uba has properties at Uga, Enugu, Lagos and Abuja which can be targeted as payback for all his crimes against the people of Anambra State.
Andy Uba along with his master Olusegun Obasanjo have consistently treated the people of Anambra as conquered people who must be subjugated by all means. His junior brother Chris Uba who is in charge of his killer squad, plans to set the state once again on fire should things not go according to their plans. The public display of animosity between this brothers is designed to confuse observers while they execute their plans against the people of the state. Andy Uba is well known to be the brain behind the kidnapping going on across the entire South East. He is a chief tug who is always willing to do anything to carry the day. Part of his plan to rig himself back to Anambra State house was to use Ralph Uwazuruike, the disgraced ex-leader of MASSOB to rig the election to his advantage. Today things are falling apart for Andy Uba both at marital level as well as in his quest to become the governor of Anambra State. His chief kidnapper Ralph Uwazuruike, is now in jail awaiting trial for kidnapping and assault and turning his private home into detention center.
The forth coming Anambra election presents a challenge to the people of the state in many ways. On one hand we have Peter Obi, the incumbent governor who invited Obasanjo to kill more than 1,500 Anambra Citizens at the early days of his coming to power at the commercial city of Onitsha. This was done to curry favour with Obasanjo and to also establish himself as an 'action governor'. Today, Peter Obi has lost his voice and not knowing how to connect with the people, have chosen instead to ride on the influence and recognition of Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the former Biafran leader. Chief Ojukwu being a man that cherishes praise and recognition have equally gone to town to let the people know that “Peter Obi is his begotten son in whom he is well pleased”, this is exactly what the Ikemba Nnewi said about Ralph Uwazuruike few years ago and today, Igbo people know better not to believe everything said by their leaders.
The will of the people of Anambra must be respected and any attempt to rig this election will be regarded as a slap on the face of the people. The people are very much aware of the schemes of Maurice Iwu the INEC boss and the pronouncements of Vice President Goodluck Jonathan to the effect that this election is a 'do or die' affair. The goal of the rulling cabal in Nigeria is to take over the State by every means possible just like they've done across the land. The people of Anambra must rise from the ruins of the past years and reclaim their destiny by supporting Dr Chris Ngige, a man known to have love of the people at heart. The people must not be ignorant of the events that have taken place in Ekiti and Ondo States in the past thirteen Months and those dictating outcomes from Abuja, must not be fooled into believing that Anambra people are defeated people who must once again turn the other cheek for them. This election may be the trigger that is needed to revive the spirit and energy of the people toward recovery. The time for change is here and the evils of Peter Obi, Nnamdi Uba and all those that have consistently ruined the people must be swept away once and for all.
