Senator Joy Emordi sacked by the Court of Appeal

A unanimous ruling of the Court of Appeal has abruptly ended the tenure of Senator Joy Emordi at the Nigerian senate. In her place, the court declared the ANPP candidate, Uba Igbeke, (A shadowy character known as "Ubanese) as the rightful winner of the Anambra North Senatorial district elections on 2007.
The judgement was delivered by Justice Olukayode Ariwoola while Justices Muhammad Ladan Tsamiya and Amiru Sanusi concurred.
