IBB Versus The Nigerian Youth

April 17, 2010

“Because we have seen signs that they are not capable of leading this country and so we feel we should help them.  May be they are not given the proper education that is why.  I have spent 17 years since I left office. “But a country like Nigeria cannot be ruled by people without experience.

“Because we have seen signs that they are not capable of leading this country and so we feel we should help them.  May be they are not given the proper education that is why.  I have spent 17 years since I left office. “But a country like Nigeria cannot be ruled by people without experience.
People like the (President Barack) Obama that you are speaking about have the experience. He started from the state House of Assembly to the House of Represen-tatives and to the Senate. If our youths are like this, we will say they have the requisite experience. But we have not reached that level. Honestly, it is our wish that God will bring the younger people that will take over from us if they are available.”  IBB.

First, this evil man  has gingerly side stepped the questions posed to him on BBC hausa service. The worst part of the interview relates to his opinion of the youths in Nigeria. Did he say they do not have the requisite education to rule Nigeria? this man gets more delusional every day. Now, we want to tell Babangida why those youths do not have the type of education for ruler ship of Nigeria. The simple answer is that he: closed universities for one year, because he stole all the money for education in Nigeria. He, and his cronies  used this money to send their  own children to private schools in Switzerland while the majority were home languishing in illiteracy.  Can he tell the rest of the world how he paid for those expensive schools in Switzerland because some of us know they do not come cheap.

Let us ask  Babangida himself this one question, , how much education does he have..To the best of our knowledge and by public records, he has only high school diploma. His sandwich courses in military institutions do not translate to higher  education. This man, by this interview has only further confirmed our worst fears about him. Our fears that he, and others like him are malignant  tumors in the body of Nigeria that must be excised and drastically  too.  If the youths of Nigeria do not have the education and the experience to rule Nigeria,  then what experience did yakubu Gowon have to rule Nigeria in 1966?  how about this monster himself?  he was a naive, reckless pepper soup eating clown when he intruded into our lives with his coup. Is that what is needed to be a good ruler?  I suppose babangida is too naive and too  illiterate to see that without his access to the instruments of terror, he would not have been anywhere near the seat of power. This man has a grand delusion of his worth, which is nothing. Much as one would have loved to ignore his intellectual obtuseness and confession of ignorance, these are dangerous times that all issues must be confronted heads on and replied to  accordingly.

Is ruthlessness, murder and grand scale theft of the patrimony of Nigeria the requisite experience needed to rule Nigeria? I hope this challenge from the monster of Minna will galvanize the youths to resist this man's rude intrusion into our lives with every fiber in our bodies and with our blood.   His colossal failure of leadership will be chucked up to his illiteracy and the consequent constitutional train wreck Nigeria has witnessed since 1993. This man is a master of the slogan of the more frivolous, the more effective. I suppose his ignorance of international affairs made him to classify Barack Obama as once being in the House of representatives. I hope his handlers will correct that error. That was a complete faux pas.

His notorious allergy to introspection is responsible for his reckless ambition. His arrogance and disdain for Nigeria and Nigerians will not be tolerated. If he did not steal all the money to buy private jets, build castles, and send his kids to schools overseas, our youths will not be confronted with the daily horror they witness now. This man needs help and urgently too.  It was during his time we had the unprecedented case of parcel bomb, we had the structural adjustment program, we had our currency devalued, we had better life which was all about Marian and her cronies, we had schools closed indefinitely, we had 12 billion dollars disappear into a sink hole and the list is endless. Yet,  this man is so adamant not to see anything wrong in his tenure of office. He side stepped the question on what happened  to the US$ 12 billion dollars oil wind fall.  He, because of his limited education  might not have understood the simple question or he was attempting to stand logic  on its head.

Not one hospital, a modern standard hospital was built in his time. Not one new road was commissioned. he now wants us to believe his tenure was better than what we are witnessing today. Well, since he is averse to simple logic, we will help him out. Whatever we are witnessing today is the fall out of his misadventure in office. The consequence of his irresponsible regime. After all, for every action, there must be a reaction. Simple law of physics if this man knows anything about the sciences at all.

Now, let me appeal to all who love Nigeria, please support the Save Nigeria Group, support The Good governance group(3G) and support all others who are willing to put everything on the line to stop this thief from coming back. His steroid infused talk should be simply that. It should not be allowed to go further. Babangida is a synthesis of the worst qualities. The evil idiot who combined ruthlessness with incompetence. We must stop this man by all means. The Thais did it, the people of KAZAKHSTAN just drove out their thieving leader, we did it in 1993, we can do it again.

If you feel you have what it takes or believe the youths can rule Nigeria and bring the country to higher pedestal, please come out whenever you are called upon to do so. This is the last chance we have before we turn into a permanent giant dump. If we miss it now, the plans of the PDP to rule for Nigeria will assume a life of its own and we will all perish. This is the time to stop babangida and the marauders in PDP. Soon, a new political party may be launched where we will all coalesce to stare down the monster of Minna. It will put this man where he belongs which is a maximum jail cell.

Finally, since I hear Sahara reporters in the bible of the thieves in Nigeria, let me give them a  few good names of youths who can rule Nigeria effectively:  Babatunde Fashola, Governor Obi of Anambra, Nuhu Ribadu, Ngozi Okonjo Iwealla,  Nasir El Rufai, Dr Fasoranti in Atlanta, Donald Duke of Cross River state,  Omoyele Sowore, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Col Abubakar Umar, former senate presidnet, Nnamani,  and too many others to mention.

Lastly, will someone please tell babngida to keep his stupidity in his house in Minna. His answers to the BBC interview demonstrated stupidity so sheer, so perfect that it beats all that have ever  seen, not even  one seen in nature even when nature by itself contradicts Darwin. The youths whom you so disparage and so disdainful of will show you.
