Former minister of the federal capital territory, Nasir El-Rufai, who was a thorn in the side of the Yar'adua led regime returned to Abuja safely today from his base in Dubai, UAE.
Surprisingly, El-Rufai who was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and placed on INTERPOL's wanted persons list was admitted to Nigeria without any security incident or harassment.
The former minister has always maintained that the charges of corruption against him were politically motivated and vowed to challenge EFCC officials as soon as the political atmosphere was safe for his return to Nigeria.
