{joomplu:2036}{joomplu:2031}{joomplu:2040}The body of deceased Nigerian leader Umaru Yar'adua was taken in an ambulance draped in Nigeria's national colors from the Presidential Villa to his hometown of Katsina. Saharareporters saw four jets at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja just before they took off. One of the aircraft carried Yar'adua's widow, former First Lady Turai, and her entourage.
There was a brief airport ceremony after which Yar'adua's body departed Abuja for his final resting place.
