PHOTONEWS: Ribadu Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree At Babcock University

{joomplu:2216}{joomplu:2219}{joomplu:2223}{joomplu:2222}Former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Nuhu Ribadu, was today in Ilisan, Ogun State, conferred with an honorary doctorate degree by Babcock University. Mr. Ribadu who returned to Nigeria after a two-year self-exile, was accompanied to the event by his lawyer, Femi Falana, members of his family, as well as Femi Ojudu and Kunle Ajibade of The News magazine.

Present were ThisDay publisher, Nduka Obaigbena, Mrs. Helen Prest-Ajayi, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos, and Chief Gani Fawehinmi's family, represented by Mrs. Ganiat and Mohammed Fawehinmi. MOSOP president, Ledun Mitee, Industrialist Aliko Dangote and former EFCC Director of Operations, Ibrahim Lamorde, all travelled to Babcock to support Ribadu, whose citation drew widespread ovation at the event.
