IBB Banned From Holding Public Office

{joomplu:2257}{joomplu:2258}{joomplu:2265}The Nigeria Peoples' Parliament In Diaspora (NPPID) in their 2nd parliamentary session taking place in New York, has resolved that Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida  should be banned from holding public office in Nigeria indefinitely. In a near unanimous vote, the parliament also named Ibrahim Babangida an enemy of the Nigeria state for annulling the June 12 1993 general election. 

{joomplu:2257}{joomplu:2258}{joomplu:2265}The Nigeria Peoples' Parliament In Diaspora (NPPID) in their 2nd parliamentary session taking place in New York, has resolved that Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida  should be banned from holding public office in Nigeria indefinitely. In a near unanimous vote, the parliament also named Ibrahim Babangida an enemy of the Nigeria state for annulling the June 12 1993 general election. 
The parliament also approved that June 12 should be declared a democracy day and be made a public holiday in Nigeria.   In another unanimous vote, NPPID resolved that Chief M.K.O Abiola should be officially named the winner of the 1993 election and accorded the presidency posthumously.  Photo credit: Dr. Susan Dodgson-New York Echo
