As we celebrate Father’s Day; I woke up on Sunday morning as the lord administered to me on the family. Little did I know, going to sleep on Saturday night, after rejoicing with my few friends who came over to celebrate the arrival of my son, whom God has blessed me with and to whom I have dedicated his life to, that the spirit of the lord would administer to me the same night and for which I feel I should share with others.

Above is an excerpt of the discussion I had with a friend on a very major issue that critically affecting the AFRICAN FAMILY IN DIASPORA Via MARRIAGES? It is said that when a man finds a wife, loving and caring to which he takes to the altar of GOD, that man is believed to have found a good thing and favor in the eyes of GOD. Likewise, when a woman is approached by a would be ; husband and she accepts the man , it is believed or expected that the woman has found a loving, caring, kind hearted and prosperous person, whom she can call her ‘ knight shinning armor’. He would protect and guide her and provide for her.
A look into the Bible, Quran and other religious books and teaching simply shows similar things about the way and manner a marriage should work and to a large extent , guide towards a fruitful; married life and the making of a family. Today, our lives have been challenged with the most bizarre nature of activities which runs contrary to these teachings. The rate of divorce is fast out pacing the rate of marriages, 50% of marriages end before the fifth anniversary, 70% before the tenth and occasionally, 90% ends by the first quarter of the century (25years) of marriage. This leaves roughly about 10-15% of marriages lasting 30years and over.
Many a reason has been attributed to this trend in our present day life. Most importantly are the African marriages in the western world or I could better describe it as immigrant marriages in foreign lands.
I will not use this chapter to elaborate on the problems and issues relating to failed marriages, for I know there are uncountable reasons and the issue is as sensitive as its debatable but I would rather duel on just one aspect of the entire issue; which is a message I have to Africans in the diaspora. Without sounding prejudice to my beloved people of other race. I specifically choose those of African descent because in my calling and seeking God for answers, the Holy Spirit administered the message to me and I am asked to deliver this message without fear or foe. The message basically touched on the life of the Africans with respect to marriage and family.
The African woman is known to be a lady of distinction. The epitome of God’s creation and grace. She is beautiful, strong, caring, passionate, intelligent, smart, committed to family and above all, she is generally seen as the home maker in our culture and heritage. Her faith stands tall and firm in time of crisis and would not hesitate to support her husband / man whenever or wherever the need arise. She is reassuring and would go at any length to hold and instill values in her family, most especially the children.
This and many more ways, we can simply describe the AFRICAN WOMAN without missing words. YET, today and most importantly, in the Diaspora, these attributes of the African Woman is changing. The changes can be seen in areas like, social, economic, cultural, religious, and political and even the basic day to day life style of the average African woman. Some have tapped into the industrial revolution of our day to revive them and atoned to great heights, while others use the same in a radical approach at destroying their families without realizing that they are doing so. Whichever way we may choose to view the up liftment or growth of the African woman, we must not be betrayed by our sentiments or judgment but rather seek to know why thing are happening at a fast pace and it seems like the men seem to be losing out in all this arrangement.
YES, I have said it and let it be known that the rate of marital divorce which leads to break in family is not only increasing, it’s becoming extremely alarming. I would not place blame on anyone either the men or women, since every case is different but the truth be told that the values of marriage and the family is fast been eroded either physically or spiritually.
This would bring me to now address the issue for my writing. THE MESSAGE as stated above is simply valid information I want to share with the AFRICAN family, most especially to those in the diaspora, meaning those away from home. I am not here to judge anyone but would leave the answers to those who choose to read and yield to the word of the lord. It is not of my making for I do not possess the power but that of our savior in heaven; GOD THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT.
I pray that GOD in his wisdom and mercy shall make this message acceptable to all who read it and learn from it.
The lord God almighty; says to his children, I am the lord thy GOD and I have heard your cries. I created man and woman in my own image and likeness and for which I created all the beautiful things of life. I allowed Adam and Eve to multiply so that my creation would last forever by so doing having a family. It is the family that would stand and uphold the values which I have given. The family would take control of the universe which I created and the beautiful things in it. The family would serve me through the head; which is the man and would be supported by the woman. I would make the family to last generations and for those who follow me and adhere to my laws; their days shall be blessed. My glory and mercy shall abide with them forever. Let the beautiful children of the world rise, they are my roses in my father’s kingdom, my love for them is everlasting and the man and woman must safeguard them against the enemy (devil) and all his works. Above is an excerpt of the discussion I had with a friend on a very major issue that critically affecting the AFRICAN FAMILY IN DIASPORA Via MARRIAGES? It is said that when a man finds a wife, loving and caring to which he takes to the altar of GOD, that man is believed to have found a good thing and favor in the eyes of GOD. Likewise, when a woman is approached by a would be ; husband and she accepts the man , it is believed or expected that the woman has found a loving, caring, kind hearted and prosperous person, whom she can call her ‘ knight shinning armor’. He would protect and guide her and provide for her.
A look into the Bible, Quran and other religious books and teaching simply shows similar things about the way and manner a marriage should work and to a large extent , guide towards a fruitful; married life and the making of a family. Today, our lives have been challenged with the most bizarre nature of activities which runs contrary to these teachings. The rate of divorce is fast out pacing the rate of marriages, 50% of marriages end before the fifth anniversary, 70% before the tenth and occasionally, 90% ends by the first quarter of the century (25years) of marriage. This leaves roughly about 10-15% of marriages lasting 30years and over.
Many a reason has been attributed to this trend in our present day life. Most importantly are the African marriages in the western world or I could better describe it as immigrant marriages in foreign lands.
I will not use this chapter to elaborate on the problems and issues relating to failed marriages, for I know there are uncountable reasons and the issue is as sensitive as its debatable but I would rather duel on just one aspect of the entire issue; which is a message I have to Africans in the diaspora. Without sounding prejudice to my beloved people of other race. I specifically choose those of African descent because in my calling and seeking God for answers, the Holy Spirit administered the message to me and I am asked to deliver this message without fear or foe. The message basically touched on the life of the Africans with respect to marriage and family.
The African woman is known to be a lady of distinction. The epitome of God’s creation and grace. She is beautiful, strong, caring, passionate, intelligent, smart, committed to family and above all, she is generally seen as the home maker in our culture and heritage. Her faith stands tall and firm in time of crisis and would not hesitate to support her husband / man whenever or wherever the need arise. She is reassuring and would go at any length to hold and instill values in her family, most especially the children.
This and many more ways, we can simply describe the AFRICAN WOMAN without missing words. YET, today and most importantly, in the Diaspora, these attributes of the African Woman is changing. The changes can be seen in areas like, social, economic, cultural, religious, and political and even the basic day to day life style of the average African woman. Some have tapped into the industrial revolution of our day to revive them and atoned to great heights, while others use the same in a radical approach at destroying their families without realizing that they are doing so. Whichever way we may choose to view the up liftment or growth of the African woman, we must not be betrayed by our sentiments or judgment but rather seek to know why thing are happening at a fast pace and it seems like the men seem to be losing out in all this arrangement.
YES, I have said it and let it be known that the rate of marital divorce which leads to break in family is not only increasing, it’s becoming extremely alarming. I would not place blame on anyone either the men or women, since every case is different but the truth be told that the values of marriage and the family is fast been eroded either physically or spiritually.
This would bring me to now address the issue for my writing. THE MESSAGE as stated above is simply valid information I want to share with the AFRICAN family, most especially to those in the diaspora, meaning those away from home. I am not here to judge anyone but would leave the answers to those who choose to read and yield to the word of the lord. It is not of my making for I do not possess the power but that of our savior in heaven; GOD THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT.
I pray that GOD in his wisdom and mercy shall make this message acceptable to all who read it and learn from it.
The lord God almighty; says to his children, I am the lord thy GOD and I have heard your cries. I created man and woman in my own image and likeness and for which I created all the beautiful things of life. I allowed Adam and Eve to multiply so that my creation would last forever by so doing having a family. It is the family that would stand and uphold the values which I have given. The family would take control of the universe which I created and the beautiful things in it. The family would serve me through the head; which is the man and would be supported by the woman. I would make the family to last generations and for those who follow me and adhere to my laws; their days shall be blessed. My glory and mercy shall abide with them forever. Let the beautiful children of the world rise, they are my roses in my father’s kingdom, my love for them is everlasting and the man and woman must safeguard them against the enemy (devil) and all his works. They shall be given much as I have given you (man), they shall be thought my ways and allowed to leave a fruitful life. I am thy GOD who controls your destiny, i will be there for you at all times, as you serve me with humility. I will provide for your family but you must come to me and serve me.
The message continues with a critical look at the AFRICAN MARRIAGE AND FAMILY.
I have heard the cry of the African man in the diaspora; you, whom I have given much, have been reduced to nothing. Your life is without form and all efforts you make to hold your family is fruitless and futile because the devil has been allowed to steal your family away from you. The devil has visited your home and given the opportunity to attack your marriage and family to which you do not have control of anything. Not even your life. You work but it seems like your efforts are not enough. In your moments, you contemplate destruction of life and property as a way of getting back at those who have reduced you to nothing. They laugh at you and mock you and make you spineless and in the mist of all this, the devil takes control of your bride, steals your children and then your properties leaving you with nothing.
I have heard your cry. I say to you, be steadfast, standup and be faithful. Serve the lord your GOD and pray ceaselessly. Return the family to me and be that man whom I have called you to be. In the mist of all these adversity, I will uplift you, I will cause you to be champion among others, I shall brighten your life, rekindle your strength and return your lost glory back to you but you must return to serve the lord your GOD. You must humble yourself before the lord and seek his wisdom at all times. You have left your home to another man’s land to suffer and toil. Your efforts shall not go in vain. The devil would be put to shame. You must bring my children back to me for I made you head of house and caretaker for the family. You must leave a righteous life and abide by my laws. You must learn to forgive for I am the lord thy GOD who forgives. You must love and instill the values of love in your family. You must teach them; wife and children my ways and bring them to me. It is when you have changed your ways that my glory will permanently watch over you and your family and the devil would be put to shame and destroyed.
MAN; I have heard your cry, but you must be responsible and be of good conduct. You must love your wife as I love you and cherish her as the mother of your children. The devil has invaded my homes and manipulating my daughters against the man and the family. You the man has lapsed in your responsibility and allowed the agents of the devil to take over my masterpiece, my home shall stand and you will be returned to your rightful place. You have overlooked my presence in the family and decided to worship and glorify materialism. Your quest for material wealth has lead you astray as such you have misguided your priorities for the family, especially my children. Your fear of humiliation and disgrace from the devil and his agents has tormented you to a point where you now doubt my existence but I say to you, that I am the lord thy GOD, you must return to me and serve me. I will exalt you and liberate you from the hands of the enemy. I will give you back your glory and restore to you, the lost joy and happiness. AMEN.

I have choosen you to lead women of the world because of your persona and pedigree. I have great joy in my creation and made you to be the maker of the family and home, the first among others and the epitome of the family’s well being. I have taken you away from the bondage of Africa’s barbaric culture and made you shine among your peers in the diaspora but the devil has decided to compromise my good work. He has decided to invade you and manipulate you to the detriment of the man and the family. I have seen the man being castrated and reduced due to the atrocities the devil has put before you and in your mind you think all is well. The devil and his agents are using you to destroy my household and family. In your quest for greatness and atonement, you lose touch of wisdom and care. You overlook the intricate things that I have put in place in your life and decide to challenge the head. I have made the man the head of my home but yet you arrogantly choose to depose him and work against him. I say to you’ woman’, that you must change your ways.
I am the lord thy GOD, I rejoice in my daughters and I have shown my enduring love for the woman by placing her first amongst others but she’s been mislead in the destruction of my household and children. Return to your rightful place as the wife and mother. Show love and care for your family. Support your husband no matter the circumstances and care for my children whom I have given you. The devil has only come to destroy and not build. It does not build and would never build. I say this to you, that I cherish my family and children and love them with all my heart and would not allow their life and destiny to be taken away from them, I ask that you change, repent and confess your sins. I am the father and would forgive you, if you come to me. Join the man in praying for the family and building the family. The devil is manipulative and would make you destroy your family if you let him. Rejoice in the gift I have given you and be mindful of my anger.
Woman, be that woman whom I have called you to be, my love for my children and family knows no bound and my judgment would rain upon those who allow the devil to use them in the destruction of my vineyard. Be wise, patient and persevere and pray for my wisdom at all times. Seek me and I will be there for you. Call my name at your times of need and I will answer you, show love and work with love for this are the weapons against the devil and his agents. AS my home maker, I expect that all you do would be in my name and I shall brighten your world. I shall make the man a shining star and armor to guide and support you and my children but you must respect and be obedient to him.
Woman I say unto you, I have blessed your womb with fruits that would germinate and yield greater fruits which would rule the world and the African woman would be looked upon for guidance. She would be envied among peers and her children would rule the world. You are chosen as a home and peace maker, you shall care for my son (man) and the children. My children are crying and being displaced because you allow the devil to manipulate you against the man. These are the precious gifts I have freely blessed you with but in your greed, you succumb to the devil and his agents. I am saddened by this level of irresponsibility; I expect that you will guide my children with your life and call upon me for guidance and wisdom. I say to you, return to me and serve the lord thy GOD.
I have heard the cry of the African child in Diaspora; my precious flowers, to whom I am favored above all. In my father’s house, there are many beautiful things and the children come first. I hear your cry of displacement, separation from your parent and family, your trauma of dealing with the separation or divorce of your parents and many more. To all this things, I say be steel. I am your father in heaven and my love for you runs like a stream. I will destroy the works of the devil and his agents, who has waged war against my family and destroying my children. I shall bring down the empires which go against me and cause them to tremble. I will raise you and bless your generations and in the mist of this adversity, I shall anoint you as the leader of nations. Learn my ways and pray. My glory and blessing shall permanently be upon you. Amen.
