"This whole talk about: to zone or not to zone in the PDP". WETIN SEF! I think it's a progressive debate but let's not be blinded. Let's not be carried away. People are so concerned about the zoning of the PDP's Presidential candidate. They do not see a picture of any other party winning the Presidential elections, come 2011. They do not even see it happening in the foreseeable future! Why? They have bought into the undemocratic or not so progressive idea that the PDP is unchallengeable in the Presidential polls! Members of the PDP are having their debate. So many observers standing from afar, see no other party but the People's Democratic Party! "The PDP's candidate is the next President" is a meme, so widely accepted. But for how long?
Why has millions of Nigerians accepted the subliminal message that the People's Democratic Party MUST win the next Presidential elections? Why?

Can people of good will not rise up and set up formidable political parties that would give the PDP "a good run for it's money"? Can the PDP not be floored in a Presidential election? They may battle all they want about ZONING... Still, Nigerians can send them packing in the polls by putting a befitting leader (regardless of State of Origin) in Aso Rock! Common people!
