Mr. President Let’s Talk For A Minute

July 5, 2010

Nice to know that you finally suspended the anti progress decision you took with emotions, rather than objective approach to reposition our football without further damaging our talented youths. Mr. President you don't have to call out names of discussants before you convince us you are reading our comments, this is childish if you ask me.

Nice to know that you finally suspended the anti progress decision you took with emotions, rather than objective approach to reposition our football without further damaging our talented youths. Mr. President you don't have to call out names of discussants before you convince us you are reading our comments, this is childish if you ask me.
Mr. President, I volunteered for Pres. Obama's campaign because I was very sure his vision was going to work, I took out 102 hrs of my already busy medical school schedule and invested them into YES WE CAN slogan of Pres. Obama. Pres Jonathan I worked without pay, so did many Americans and non-Americans who believed the words of Obama.

Mr. President, Pres. Obama is not GOD neither is he some supper human, he is just a black kid from downtown Chicago. Just like you Mr. President he was loved by many who wanted him to the commander in chief. We believed him, just like we gave you a chance. This was why I invested my hard-to-make-up 102 hrs to bring change. I am Glad I did that.

However Mr. President, you appear to be drifting too badly. I will be honest to you; you have started going the ways of the others before you. Let us examine some of your actions.

The Honour Awards List: Mr President, take a look at the names listed there, and sincerely tell yourself the truth if 90% of them deserve to be honoured or shamed. I have seen some names; I asked myself is President Jonathan really honest? I won’t mention the names but I know you know them.

50 Billion Budget: Mr. President, America celebrated 234 yrs old 2days ago, Mr President Obama dare not think of spending $5million for that. Do you know why? Because there is global economic crisis, which that affects everyone. But Nigeria seems to be immune and has taken care of the basics of life, hence the time to celebrate with huge state funds. Mr President if you refused to reverse this Culture of Waste like I wrote in my memo to you, We will remember not just the people that lost their lives because you misused our monies, but also we will remember a President who was deaf to the cries of the people to save them from the death that killed them.

Bankole Looting Saga: Mr. President, you were first a common Nigerian before the title President of Nigeria. Please tell me that in those days before 1999, you did not curse the leaders of Nigeria for looting our funds? Now you are the commander in chief, you choose to play deaf and dumb in the face of these atrocities committed by those whose words are laws in Nigeria. Mr. President, kindly pick up the telephone and call Pres. Obama. Ask him if such happened in America what he would have done. Whatever he says, do it.

The Fighting in our National Assembly: Mr. President, you went deaf and dumb again when it was reported that school children, the future leaders of Nigeria, were in the House of Representative when the congressmen and women turned our house of laws into a battle ground. Let me refresh your memory Mr. President, on the 11th of Sept 2001, the same day some anti progress group bombed the twin tower, Pres, Bush was in a classroom with children reading story books with them, when his aide came in to inform him that America was under attack.

Guess what he did, he waited till the story finished before he left. You may ask why? Well, of what good is a commander in chief that puts little children in fear or danger? Mr President, time is not late. You should apologize to Nigerians for the mess in the House of Reps. You have to take responsibility of any action. That is what a good leader does.

Mr. President, time will not permit me to talk more at least for now. However, I am so much willing to give you the benefit of doubt, hoping that you will act fast on those. I am a believer in progress and I work for progress. I have also set up a DataBank that will help you collect volunteers who will be willing to assist make positive impact on the lives of Nigerians. Once the DataBank grows to 500, I will forward their profiles to your office. You will be informed more by clicking this linkhttp://www.facebook.com/pages/VOLUNTEERING-4-NIGERIA/107398559313013?ref=ts

Until we talk again, I remain
