Port Harcourt Deaths As "The Jonathan Curse"

March 2, 2011

Godforsaken Jonathan: don’t blame the Gods that the Devil is currently in the details parading Jonathan’s presidential ambition. His presidential dream is now between the Devil and the deep blue sea due to Port Harcourt deaths. There’s bad omen in the air following Jonathan to and fro.

President Jonathans’ close-knits should tell him in good English language; to bugger off from the presidential race more so now when his luck and God have fled him leaving the Devil to deposit over twenty innocent dead Nigerians to his political bank account in Port Harcourt.

Has anyone ever wondered and asked why the hell the family of late US president JF Kennedy is so blessed and yet so cursed? They reach the apex of their careers fast only to die soon maliciously or maimed for life!

When the author Edward Klein wrote a book named ‘The Kennedy Curse’ I knew that a new chapter has been born to measure bad luck of leaders and why they’ve been forsaken by man and Modesty. The book which studied 150 years of the Kennedy family tree and as to why they rise quickly and die soon at their primes is the height of the conspiracy theory over what make the Kennedy family thick and thin. There’re striking resemblance in the Kennedy curse and their rise and fall with the bad luck now knocking president Goodluck’s door. Late president J. F. Kennedy’s grandparents allied with the USA Mafia a lot: same way Jonathan has been dining with the Nigerian criminals that made OBJ’s human manipulation make Jonathan president. The Kennedy’s exploits include selling of alcohol with Mafia strides during ‘Prohibition.’ Their prior existence in Ireland many years ago before they ventured into the USA didn’t help matters as it was dotted with raw human hedonism and un-heard of malpractices. The Kennedy’s cut corners a lot to the top as Jonathan has done all his life to get where he is. The wheel is turning fast against him and it’s now time Jonathan pump that break. He’s making his life too easy. How the Kennedy’s life sync with Jonathan’s is a topic for another day. As I’ll now debate the Jonathan curse and why man, Modesty and ‘God’ have forsaken Jonathan hereunder.

Lucifer has taken advantage of the desertion and curse of Jonathan by the Gods to do havoc on his campaign trail as to forewarn Nigerians to steer farther off from his upcoming campaign gatherings. Most of those who died in Port Harcourt would’ve died in vain because they weren’t there out of personal conviction but contracted via monetary persuasions and other ego trips. There’s nothing more painful than dying for the wrong cause or reason as that of siding with corrupt and deceitful persons. Jonathan supporters who’re alive today should take one minute to think if they’d have been proud of themselves were they to be amid the dead. There’s a price to pay for disservice to oneself and society in aiding a corrupt president succeed himself in order to multiply the misery of her citizens. The rot of corruption piled up by this regime and its obstacle to development in Nigeria is more reason not to have anything to do with Jonathan. Forward-looking into Nigeria’s future without Jonathan is a clarion call to all positive and voting Nigerians.

The Port Harcourt dead were people’s husbands, wives, children, brothers, sisters, beloved ones, uncles and aunties. They´ve had dreams, visions and ambitions but those are now menacing bygones in that Jonathan is just the way he is: careless, clueless about leadership and derelict of conventional wisdom.

Heaven knows! And humans have given a damning verdict of the mishap as due to the gung-ho unprofessional attitudes of Jonathan’s private security to cater for his paranoia for personal safety at the detriment of the rest of society. So, Nigerians have to die in Port Harcourt with careless abandon on that fateful day as more would die for Jonathan to become president as April gets closer. In normal society, such carelessness to the deaths of many could’ve call for the demand of the president’s head. But in Nigeria who cares? The Nigerian Media and pressmen have kept mute and easygoing as if it’s an accepted norm. Media in most countries worldwide would call for the president not only to resign but also to be tried for their deaths.

As if the dead victims and their families haven’t suffered wholesale - Jonathan’s wife Patience, rubbed more pains to their injuries when lately on newspapers she said that the dead victims ‘paid the price for democracy’ in Nigeria. Must only innocent poor Nigerians continue to pay the price of democracy in Nigeria? What if those governors who’re refusing to pay the 18 thousand minimum wages were the ones who died in Port Harcourt stampede paying the bill for democracy? Supposing it was Patience Goodluck herself who paid the price, would heaven fall? What if OBJ, IBB and the Ciroma northern zonist were to pay the price of democracy in Nigeria?

It has become too boring that only the underclass pays the price for Nigeria’s forward march. It’s time the big men and big women start swapping places with have-nots in dying for Nigeria. And if the trend doesn’t stop: there’s an option though! The Biafra champion Ojukwu, had once said that erstwhile president Olusegun Obasanjo should be brought out and shot. I think there are many people waiting – isn’t it ‘public execution’ they call it? The present system where PDP townsmen rig themselves into political offices can’t endure or sustain itself for too long. If we can’t vote them out this April, we might be going down the Egyptian way. Angers have reached fever pitch and there’s no guarantee it’d be peaceful as the Egyptian method. We might employ Ojukwu then to administer the shooting spree or range.

And for President Jonathan Goodluck, no one is asking him to die for Nigeria. If his presidential leadership lifespan couldn’t add any value to the populace, his suicidal leftover wouldn’t help us however. My counsel to the president is to resign or step aside as IBB did as a way of paying his own price for democracy in Nigeria. It’s not like I’m asking too much owing that some atoned for Nigeria with their lives. Jonathan knows in his innermost that the only thing he has to offer us is his support for corruption and higher-ups who commit sleaze. On this ground and more and to stop the Gods from disgracing Jonathan from power this April he should leave the presidential race forthwith. Jonathan had recently said that IBB is a father-like figure to him. Mr. Jonathan needs flee Aso Rock as his pseudo father IBB did when it dawned on him that he has nothing to offer us. Let it be; like father like son.

Gods have more than enough reasons to curse and forsake Jonathan for posterity sake.

The omnipresent Gods were in Nigeria during the height of late President Yar’Adua’s ill health when the cabal refused to hand power over to Jonathan as leeway allows our constitution. Until the SNG group aced by Pastor Tunde Bakare hit the streets and sundry offices protesting that Jonathan should be empowered by senate. Jonathan had then promised to better the situation when he becomes substantial president to avoid such handing-over logjam in the event that a sitting president dies in office.

The Gods are unpleased that the president has instead of righting the wrongs that delayed him taking over from his erstwhile boss; he has befriended same people who blocked his empowerment from vice to president. As a result of this and more, the Gods have unanimously agreed to abandon Jonathan and promote Pastor Tunde Bakare to become vice-president this year. And thereon, to a higher official calling; Aso Rock inclusive. Should a sitting president die in office today, we´d have more problems to deal with than we had during empowering Jonathan from vice to president. God isn’t deceived so He has sworn to ‘fall’ Jonathans’ ‘hand’ while giving pastor Bakare and Buhari the ‘swagger’ to clear up the mess Jonathan and his PDP have churned since over a decade now.

Furthermore, the Gods are blazing with deep anger against Jonathan for not keeping to the promise he made to Obama and worldwide about fighting corruption during his visit to Washington. God is vexing that all corrupt politicians who have looted Nigeria are now Jonathans’ inner circle people, campaign organisers and fund-raisers.

Jonathan Goodluck isn’t the first head of state to be cursed and forsaken but he’ll be the first Nigerian president to be disgraced out of office if he uses statecraft to corrupt and rig the April elections on the side of PDP just now when people’s power is sweeping across earth-wide. Better still, he should take a bow out. His deceits, lies, corruptions and support for it, and trampling on PDP zoning arrangement has earned him wholesale enemies. His credibility is at state. In First world countries Jonathan should’ve been piled up in the trashcan of history and forgotten.

Nigerians don’t want a thing to do with the Jonathan and PDP curse that has demoralised man and society since 1999. And this April – we’ll spit PDP out: tufiakwa!  And at the same time, telling Jonathan and party tribesmen anywhere they are to bugger off from office. Vote wisely!!! Your vote is your power and should that fails this time around, the Ojukwu’s bringing out Obasanjo and shooting him might suffice. They’re too many Obasanjo faking as bona fide who need to be taken care of when peoples power triumph over malicious PDP misrule and dictatorship.
