The Suleija Bombing: A Rejoinder

March 5, 2011

The attention of the Buhari/ Bakare campaign has been drawn to the baseless and totally unsubstantiated allegation by the PDP on the Suleija bombing. We want to condole with  the families and friends of all those whose lives were cut short by the unfortunate incident.

The attention of the Buhari/ Bakare campaign has been drawn to the baseless and totally unsubstantiated allegation by the PDP on the Suleija bombing. We want to condole with  the families and friends of all those whose lives were cut short by the unfortunate incident.

We equally want to offer our heart felt sympathy to all Nigerians who now live in a total state of insecurity. We want to assure them that it will soon be over.

The fact that the PDP is unable to admit its grave failure in maintaining security of lives and property in Nigeria is unfortunate. Their attempt to blame General Buhari and the CPC for their incompetence and clulessness is like the dog wagging the tail. Though we appreciate the sudden withdrawal of their cowardly allegation, we want to restate the fact that the CPC does not believe in violence, and will not engage in violence as trade marked by the PDP.  We do not engage in the destruction of lives and properties of Nigerians. Rather the Suleija bombing like several others  bear the DNA of the PDP.

From Abuja to Suleija, Port Harcourt to Abia state, Ibadan to Jos, the PDP has been unable to provide security for  Nigerians. We therefore encourage them to face the task of securing the lives and properties of Nigerians amongst other things. We encourage all our teeming supporters to keep the faith with us as we march towards the liberation of our country from the hands of our internal colonizers.
